    Hey guys,

    what would make a good

    1. Blot

    2. Rippersnapper

I've more or less gotten the molds for Hun-grr, Sinnertwin and cutthroat. Blot and Rippersnapper have always been very elusive. ANy suggestions?

Which molds are using for the others, if you don't mind giving it away (unless you want it to be a surprise)?

SmokescreenSWE made an excellent Rippersnapper out of Torca - which is probably the closest mold around without resorting to heavy scrathbuilding.

Don't know about Blot though - there's really no other Transformer out there that looks like a giant nose with legs. Maybe a BM Optimus Primal or something, for the proportions?

I think I saw a Blot made from a Classics Universe Ratbat/Cybertron Sideways in the Radicons.

EDIT: Yes it was done by Sculpt-bot here

Interesting choice. Thanks for the suggestion. But it seems to be needing a lot of mods to make him turn into a 'big nose'! lolz! In that case, I may need to consider relooking at Cutthroat as my maximal will be pretty big in proportion to the rest of it. Excluding the 2 dragons of course.

Watch out for Torca. He suffers from Gold plastic syndrome pretty bad, I hear.

Interesting choices for the various molds - glad you liked the Torca suggestions. It's a bit of a long shot, but maybe you could try something like Deluxe BM Optimus Primal as a base for Blot?

EDIT: Not a Cutthroat suggestion, but if you wanted a wanted a Sinnertwin that was a different and smaller mold to Hun-Grr, there is the possiblity of using the RiD version of Bruticus.

As for Cutthroat... well, if you do want a smaller one, SmokescreenSWE did one out of the Transmetal Terrorsaur mold that looked alright as well.

Hun-Grrr... (Voyager) Cybertron Scourge -- same as the Legends version is used for him.
Rippersnapper... Doomlock or Cruellock. Just see if you can hook him up with some blue energon weapons.
Sinnertwin... RiD Bruticus, and lots of yellow paint.
    Cutthroat... Energon Divebomb, without question.
Blot... ??? Sculpt-Bot's Blot using Cybetron Sideways and assorted parts is intriguing.
    * I just read up a bit, BM Deluxe Optimus Primal *will* do the job. see if you can outfit with with some type of water-shooting weapon or a launcher with a "goo" shaped missile for his Slime Gun.

The Torca mold was released in Japan as well without the gold plastic, if that helps.

As far as I know, all. Torca was my favorite Maximal (ignoring his use of The Fallen's face). I'd kept mine up for years until the hinge that holds his tail broke off. Truth be told, I always like the "Elephorca" color scheme better (orca black and elephant gray) but held off buying one after learning of his "not-Destron" Unicronian alliance.
(In my batch, Cyclonus, the Sweeps, and Galvatron are Unicron's only known/toyed heralds.)

I was fiddling with my movie protoform Starscream and came up with this for Blot. A quick head swap, a little trimming and glueing and I expect he'll be quite decent. Sadly my camera is crap, but you should get the idea.

I think I like this idea the best, really works, and the giant nose with legs bit is perfect.

As for Rippersnapper, since he's a shark with legs basically, why not try using Skybyte (or related molds), or if your not too worried about size, why not Airhammer? He already has legs in alt mode.

It's the tendency for gold swirly plastic to break easily at stress points.
