Everyone guessed really easily who it was, good job!

Anyways, this will henceforth be my terrorcons WiP thread.

Added very very early mock-ups of Rippersnapper and Cutthroat. On both of them, Screamers big shoulder vents will be gone, and alot of other things changed as well, obviously.

    *PROGRESS UPDATE 10/22*

Decided to buckle down and start constructing Hun-Gurrrs chest, because Vectors obviously wont do. This being my first real major attempt at styrene business has given me even more respect for people like Sculpt-bot and Viagra Prime who work with it all the time. Just what i have done so far took me at least an hour and a half.

Still ALOT of work that has to be done on it. I'm planning on scribbing in panel lines so that it doesn't look so bland against the rest of the body. Also need to add his beasts back spines. Anyone have any ideas for those?

    *PROGRESS UPDATE 10/22 2.0*

Well nix anything i said about his beasts back spines. I decided it'd be ridiculous to scratch built his entire chest and then just slap some random parts on, so I started constructing the spines. They are a pain in the ass... only 6 more to go :banghead:

    *PROGRESS UPDATE 10/24*

Started work on Blot, and i feel its going swimmingly. Picked out arms for him (thanks to nemesis breaker for his noble sacrifice). Had a hard time finding a head, so i decided to just start construction of my own on it. I've never actually seen the toy of blot in person, and finding a good picture of what the beast head looks like is difficult, so i'm basing it off of a picture from the old comics i found on his tfwiki entry. Still needs a lot more detail added to it, but over all i'm satisfied with the way its coming out.

He will be the right leg of Abominus. I think i just need to take off the tires, do some shaving to some of the vehicle detail, parts for combining, and find some legs, then he'll be pretty much good to go.

    *PROGRESS UPDATE 10/25*

So, work has commenced on Cut Throat now as well. This is beginning to move along at a much quicker pace than I orginally anticipated. I think all the great comments you guys are leaving are really motivating me.

Decided on how i am creating his wings. They have alot of movement, as do his beast legs, which i'm really happy about. His wings can stay facing backwards in bot mode, but i kind of prefer them to the side (mostly because it reminds me of Thunderwing in Stormbringer). Accidently shaved off a bit too much on his left shoulder when i was cutting off the vent, so some repair work will have to be done. Let me know what you guys think

    That's really clever!

Any ideas on what you'll use for the front legs and the tail?

Are you going to scratchbuild over the arms and chest to make it look more like the G1 figure?

so, is this inspiration for the entire gestalt, or are you just wanting to do the old Hun?

That is really clever. I never thought you could get a good Hun-Gurrr out of this mold, till now. I might have to try this now with the upcoming repaint of the mold. I like the use of Grimlock's arm's/legs. What are you planning for the front legs? Can't wait to see how this one turns out.

Wow, thanks for all the comments guys.

Catch22 and Raven- Yeah, i'm planning on redoing the entire chest and shoulders. I'm not sure my styrene-fu is at the level needed for that, but i'm going to try to go with thedevastators philosophy of not asking "is this possible", only "how am i going to do this". As for the front legs and tail... i'm at a bit of a loss. He may end up with Grimlocks tail and the head part it connects to, though i'm planning on using Alt Rollbars head for this, so that might not work.

Blunticus - Yeah, i'm currently working on the whole team, and planning to have combination. It just wouldnt feel right otherwise. He'll be following the ptitvite method of added gestalt parts. I keep coming up with awesome transformations for chest mode for Hun-Gurrr, but then I remember that i still have to add a damn tail and front legs.

As for the rest of the team, let me just say that one Classics Grimlock is going a loooooong way.

I would have never thought of that, but seeing it now.
It seems like a no-brainer. I'll be waiting to see how this turns out

Awesome start my man. This looks like it's going to be super-ace-pro when complete. Your design decisions so far have been incredibly effective and unexpected at the same time.
