Transformers: Beet Wars. Abandoning all of the relentless junky lore that's plagued the franchise over the last decade, Hasbro decides to commission Boulder Studios to replicate the success of Mainframe Studios 20 years ago.

The Heroic Gourdobots battle the evil Dicoticons in the far-flung future, billions of years after the end of the Beast Wars as the "Organic Core" of Cybertron slowly dies, only to find that deep within the bowels of the world, the villainous Veg-atron seeks to return the world to it's pure technological roots and annihilate all organic life on the planet. Only Optimus Prune and his ragtag band can defeat him.

Animal companions/sidekicks must never happen. And not Laserbeak or Ravage. I mean like Lassie, or Babe, or Old Yeller.

Overly humanizing them. This shouldn't be.

As an extra-terrestrial, purely mechanical race, they should be more robotic. Don't get me wrong, I like that they have emotions and are sentient, but they took too much away from the robotic element to replace it with too much of the human element.

 

Transformers and religion is ok in a vague, broad sense. The God Gambit was a quite good episode. However, putting Transformers during, say, the Exodus with the Ark of the Covenant and/or The Manna Machine being Cybertronian artifacts are too much - and to be honest, aren't really original ideas anymore since those have already been touched upon by much of the recent "Ancient Aliens" phenomenon.

I mean, how ridiculous and unnecessary would it look if Transformers such as Pretenders, etc.. were around during the time of Christ ?

That said, there has been somewhat of a fan theory by some that the story of Primus and Unicron were inspired by the stories in the Book of Genesis regarding a revolt in heaven and fallen angels fighting other angels.

Maybe Simon Furman got an Einstein from that broad and general direction ? Not sure. Regardless, in a vague sense it is damn interesting.

 

I'd be okay with less religion and more hard science fiction in Transformers.

Beet Wars? I love it! Let's take it a step further! Since some seeds can only germinate after getting eaten by animals and pooped out, what if Transformers in beet Wars reproduced by getting eaten by a giant being or beings of some sort and getting pooped out? Then you can get the birth of a new generation of Cybertronians led by Botanica.

I would totally be down for the Decepticons arriving on Earth a billion years ago and fighting the mighty Stromatolite Empire!

Also, while I would not be down for "Transformium Girls," Transformium is something I would love to see more of.

 

How about we make it a full on Transformers /Jayce and the wheeled Warriors crossover instead?

 

I'd rather they do a crossover with Starriors, and they could remold the piss out of that Generations Tankor from a few years ago...

Transformers the Musical would be a disaster the likes this fandom has never seen.

 

That'll be part of the "Fertilizer" subline, which would be like the Transmetals, but with poop.

Again, part of another subline in which select Gourdobots and Dicoticons are selected for the Juiceorz process. Y'know. Like Fuzors, but with juice.
