I posted this on the Terradive feedback thread.

I found my first Terradive at an Aldi a few days ago. The head was loose, and both legs would fall off if the figure was gently shaken or moved very much. (superglue, and nail polish didn't help at all.)
Today while at a Wal-mart I found anther one. I took a close look, and noticed the cockpit windows were clear. They were not on my original Terradive, instead the first's were heavily tented. So I purchased it. The legs are much tighter, and do not fall off. The head is also much tighter. The Trident on my second one comes apart at the center when unfolded however.

Between the two at least I have one good figure, and weapon. I didn't know it had any interior cockpit detail until I saw the one I bought today. I'm looking at both of them now. I can't see anything though the windows of my first one.

So, is there a connection between the cockpit windows, and the legs/hips problem. Check yours out, and post about it. Hopefully we can prevent fellow members, and fans from getting flawed figures.

I have no camera, but I'm asking about other people's figures.

Wait, is the trident pole not riveted together on your second unit?

The cockpit on my Terradive has a smoky purplish tint on it but the legs on my figure stay attached. And the head isn't loose either. You probably just got unlucky the first time and got a dud.

No, dude. Terradive has a running problem of the hip joints being extremely loose. It's A Thing, not just a one-off dud toy.

It appears to be when folded, but when unfolded, it falls apart. The trident auto mechanism don't work on it either. I think it is just a dud.

What I'm asking is if the thing is put together with a rivet or if the construction is different between the two tridents you have.

The construction is the same, both are connected with a rivet. One works fine, the other falls apart when unfolded. I think the second is just a dud.

...yes, that's so helpful to post when he already said he doesn't have a camera.

Yup. My Terradive's hips are extremely floppy and loose. Pretty disappointing for the first run of a mold. I still need to hit it with some nail polish or superglue. I think I will like the figure a bit more after I do that.
