I'm not surprised at there being another Terminator movie, but at Ahnold.

What's he going to play the Terminator in Skynets museum of mistakes?

The only cast members I liked were the young Reese and the skynet woman. Story was kinda cool, although it seems the original premise for the movie seemed more compelling and fresh.

The Terminator saga should've ended with Judgment Day.

It needs to start where Salvation left off and end with Arnold getting sent back to close the saga loop.

    P.S.

    Bring back Michael Biehn

They should make the T:TSCC movie(s) to end the story properly, not another assplosions movie that will be forgoten after a few weeks.

I mostly agree with this, however, I really enjoy Sarah Connor Chronicles. I like a lot of things about Salvation as well.

As far as the story goes, yeah, it really ends with T2 for me as well.

    Both counts: agreed!

So, is Arnold gonna be CG'd to look younger like Jeff Bridges in Tron: Legacy?

Meh, ROTM wasn't what I hoped it would be. IMO, they got away with explaining how Judgement Day still happened. The end scene where all the nukes were flying, coupled with the score alone revived any interest I had in the movie. Salvation for me was an utter disappointment. I felt they could have done better and did have the potential to do better.....but they didn't. John Connor getting a heart from a Terminator??? Really???? :redface2:  Well....at least they showed how he got his facial scar.

Too bad they didn't use the John Connor that appeared in the beginning of T2. At least....it would have been someone I could recognize as being an "older" John Connor. Hope T5 doesn't stink as much as T4 did.

What, did you guys actually think Terminator: Salvation was the last chapter, hell no. It's far from over.

Interesting that Arnold is back. I know he can probably get himself back into good shape again, but even still he looks noticeably older. Wonder if they'll somehow work that into the storyline or if they'll just CG him to look like his younger self.

As for bringing back Micheal Biehn as Reese? Oh yeah, I'd be all over that. I really liked him as Reese in the first movie, and seeing him back as an older, wiser Kyle would be cool. The recent Terminator 2029/1984 comics by Dark Horse presented a pretty decent solution to him being still alive and older. I'd use something similar.

BUT... dammit, I want more Sarah Conner Chronicles!

If Arnie plays an Terminator, I hope they do him with CGI, like the awesome scene of T4. It's nothing against him, but he is really old now and a machine that looks old? Even in T3 everything seemed like a parody the first two films... even himself. I would love to see him in new movies, but for such things like Terminator or Conan they better take Roland Kickinger and put Arnies face over it and let Arnie just voice it.

Although it has to feel strange for him. But it's better that way.

If it becomes a good movie I'll watch it. If it's a bad movie, I'll watch the ragequits.

    Either way: :popcorn

Arnold is way too old to return for another Terminator movie; he should've asked for a bigger part in the next sequel for The Expendables instead.
