We should have the ten commandments for toy purchasing. Let's see if we can get it. Here is what I have.

- Thou shalt not pay extra to own a figure before official release
- Thou shalt not delay preordering a hot item
- Thou shalt not freak out about an item selling out for good when the official release date has not even come yet
- Thou shalt not spend 3-4x original value for a figure
- Thou shalt not worry about scale

Let's see what else we get.

 

I dunno about your fourth one. It kind of falls apart if you start talking about older figures. 4x original price is not remotely out of line for most G1 figures in good shape, for instance.

Thou shalt not leave a Transformer sealed unless thou hath a copy already opened.

 

Thou shalt not scalp.

I won't go to hell for breaking your fifth commandment, will I?

 

- thou shall not anger the wife. always keep the boss lady happy.

 

That should be top of the list.

i remember someone tried to warn people of an ebay seller on here becuase they bought clearly broken G1 figures and said they had no idea figures were broken despite fact seller listed in discription everything wrong with items.
