So I've been looking around the past few days or so at some reviews and stuff of the Telemocha releases of Optimus Primal and Megatron. And I'm considering hunting them down, but my question is: are they considered by most BW fans to be the best versions of those guys?

Keep in mind that I have the 10th Anniversary TRU 2 pack of Optimus and Megatron. I really like how small Primal is, but if I get the small Primal, then my 10th Megatron will be too big compared to him. And I've heard mixed reviews on Telemocha Megatron. How much would I be looking at spending on the Telemocha versions, should I choose to get them? (I can't find any on eBay to compare to)

I've got the Robot Masters ones, same things slightly less detailed colours.

Megatron is distinctly "not bad", the tail arm is fiddly and not very poseable with the tail on, removed it is a bit better. He mostly suffers more for the downscaling than Primal, but still worth it at a reasonable sort of price.

No idea what the going rate is with them, I'd personally not go mega high on them though as neither is particularly impressive or must have.

Look into the Robot Masters as well, the Telemocha ones I believe came out later in that series so are a bit harder to come by. The Robot Masters were released earlier and I believe in greater numbers.

Toyarena.com has the Telemocha Primal in stock for $49.99 and that's the only place I've seen it lately, including ebay.

I have the Robotmasters releases of both Megatron and Optimus Primal, and while I think this is a good size for Optimus, the Megatron is too small. All the other Predacons dwarf him, which looks weird. It's easier to fudge/justify Optimus' size among the Maximals.

So, IMO, Optimus is worth hunting down, but Megatron not so much.

    Ebay:
I consider Telemocha Primal to be the definitive Primal figure as far as accuracy and scale with his other forms. I paid $20 shipped a year ago off ebay and I have to say it was certainly worth it.

Still the Hasbro anniversary retools are awesome as well. I couldn't find them and opted for this guy instead. Honestly though I think the Anniversary or original Megatron is better than the Telemocha due to sheer size.

I have the smaller Telemocha Primal and the Ultra Telemocha Megs.

IMO they are THE definitive versions of these characters.

They made two sizes. The small deluxe size that were repaints of the Robot Masters. And then the retools of the originals Ultra size. I own all four and are all awesome in their own different ways. That Telemocha Ultra Megatron is awesome.

Thanks for all the help guys. I think I'll probably get the Telemocha Primal when the opportunity arises

Some pictures of Megatron would be awesome if anyone has any. (pics of the smaller Tele Megatron with some other Preds including Transmetal Megatron and a pic of Ultra Megatron next to Tele Primal would be great)

Here's small Megs by himself and a groupshot of Preds with the larger Megs. At the moment I don't have comparison shots of both Megs.

I wouldn't mind the RM size Telemocha Convoy, wish he came with a mini mace.

Definitely splitting hairs here, but I think I prefer the head sculpt of the TrU Anniversary Megatron over the Ultra Telemocha release. The smug facial expression of the TrU figure is perfect for the character, IMO.

Its the large Telemocha version. Basically there are three versions. Robot Masters, Ultra size, and the TRU 10th Anniversary. I can take side by side pics later.

I just couldn't fit them in lol. And the only Blackarachnia I have is the TM2 version. I'm hoping Has/Tak come to their senses and make a Classics Blackarachnia.
