I don't know what's worse, the comments or the fact that they suddenly switch to turtles with actual eyes.

Hrm... the lyricists ruin it. Hope they play a lyric-less version during the shows instead...

Also, those anime effects are fucking infuriating. What the fuck is up with the little lines and lightning bolts around their heads and stuff?

I am not a fan of the animesque effects (unless they use them sparingly and often quite hilariously like they do in the two Avatar series) either.

The song's initial "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" singing is pretty catchy... then the rap, I'm not sure how to react. It's not horrendously bad like Titanic: The Animated Movie (It's party time), but not the best rap either.

With The Legend of Korra, it originally had a longer opening, but they cut it down to be 30 seconds. Maybe the same will happen here (or at least with episodes more relevant to the plot or have more stuff happening). The same thing goes for Prime as well; the kids' part in the opening was chopped out for the One Shall Rise episodes (the big epic season finale that already have lengthy recaps), and at least one of the relic hunts (again, lengthy recaps already) if I'm not mistaken.

So they may very well chop out all the rap, and stick to singing the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and the Turtles' names, for some of the episodes if not the whole series.

I'd also like to say, while I love KMR to death and he already sounds seriously threatening as the Shredder, I probably would've picked someone else to be the Shredder. It's mostly because KMR is a big guy, but I would moreso expect his legendary, booming voice to come out of the Super Shredder (Secret of the Ooze), not a normal (albeit clearly powerful and strong) man. KMR will probably prove me wrong and win me over regardless, though, like he did with Prime Bulkhead.

I am also not a fan of being able to see the Foot and the Turtles' eyes again (with the Turtles, it's like Back to the Sewers almost). I am intrigued to see how the Utroms - now apparently called the Kraang - are in this series, being a reimagining. I really want Leatherhead, Bishop, and Hun back in this series.

What's weird to me is how their eyes go white when they're fighting. How does that work? Though the faces are so smooth and detail-less you kind of need to pupils because they can't emote enough since the shape of the eyes doesn't change that much.

I can't say I like the rap in the song, but the show itself still looks decent.

    ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz........

The animation is cool as well as the homage, but that's one of the most boring songs/raps I've ever heard.

wow people that something as "small" as the intro song too seriously, really how many of you are going to really care about that when the show comes out in comparision to the rest of the show.

The song was allright with a decent catch for the kids, nice call back to the 80's series, with a nice TMNT#1 easteregg.

Considering that we have to listen to it literally every single episode the theme song is anything but small. Theme songs are very, very important, and the fact that more and more cartoons these days are opting to ignore them or just have generic songs se to generic visuals is terrible. They set the tone and serve to energize the audience for the show. A bad theme song greatly affects the experience. If it's boring or annoying it leads the viewer to expect that from the show itself.

I don't understand how anyone could ever call theme songs small. Hell, most people's greatest memory of the original show is the theme song.
