At the end of the TCC comi panel today, they showed preview artwork of RTS G2 Optimus Prime in Scourge colors. Looks like he may be an exclusve figure for next year.

    Ha. Oh my.

I'm glad I'll be able to purchase one...but I was hoping for a retail release in Generations next year.

If it is that, someone at the club must really like that mold.

    That's bullshit.

That's something so popular that it needs to be standard retail.

No joke! Well, except the joke about how fast it would hit the boards. Of course not sure there's any topping SG Optimus as a villainous use of this mold...

And/or they really hope people that swore off the club after the credit card debacle come back for Scourge/Nemesis?

I hope he isn't the membership figure. That way if he's just a regular exclusive I won't have to buy him.

I hate the RTS G2 PRime mold. It is fugly and at the very least should have been a voyager.

Sounds about right. Something that's fairly popular and has a high level of demand behind it...exactly the kind of plastic crack FunPub needed to release to get everyone to magically forgive and forget all their various screw-ups over the past several months.

What are the odds that Hasbro releases Nemesis Prime (with a predominantly black/red color scheme), whereas the presumed 2013 Scourge has the teal blue, white, etc?

A lot of people have said they would prefer Scourge instead of yet another Nemesis Prime, so maybe this is what they're banking on.

I have no interest in this.

    Sorry Scourge/Nemesis bores me.

-ZacWilliam, would I renew if the new toy doesn't interest me... Not sure...

What is Hasbro thinking in not making that toy a general release figure? Have they forgotten anything pre-Bay and post G1 at this point?

I can already hear the arguement from the club... Hasbro wasn't going to make a Scourge, so the ONLY way you would see one is if Fun Pub made one.

If that's the case, I wonder what Shattered Glass Scourge would look like, because you know it's coming.
