no i talk about a repaint of the rts laser prime as scourge, not the sweeps leader

Here's hoping it will be a RiD themed set, then I can save myself a big chunk of money I don't have.

So it's Laser Magnus and the theme of Botcon 2012 is "Generation 3". Set in post Generation 2 Redux, Laser Magnus leads a team of repaints from the Generations and RTS lines. Road Rage from Tracks, Devcon from Scourge, etc.

 

Yeah I've had a pair of United Steppers down for preorder for awhile now, even though I know that Target Master wouldn't attach to the vehicle mode as is, I've liked that deco alot for a long time.

There were alot of less instantly recognizable Transformers from later in G1 that had Porsche altmodes, these obviously had far different transformations to Jazz. With any luck, Minerva and Nightbeat will share a new Gen/Untd mould, but for Jazz redeco/retools, perhaps a Minicon, like Skystalker? An orange and purple Decepticon sports car would definately stand out on a Classics/Henkei, etc shelf, haha.

That said, Minicons are still being kept as a viable option in the new canon which WFC/FOC and TF: Prime fall into. The book Transformers Vault shows a map of Cybertron and surrounding space from the related brand bible with the following marker:

The United Stepper is actually a magazine exclusive right? Agree that don't think they will come out Stepper again

 

They can put Scourge and Magnus out if they hold to their set formula.

Still waiting for Mega SCF G1 Skywarp and RID Prime repainted into Hot Spot/Defensor

 

Has anyone thought that since we've had g2, why not flip flop and bring out nucleon quest convoy? I know its a black prime repaint, but it would satisfy the urge for the scourge fans, not to mention you can bring out a bunch of new/alternate characters that have a place instead of just getting shoehorned in.

I mean, Nucleon could be the other forgotten power, etc.......
I just really hope they don't do something stupid and have bumble/goldbug do the HotRod thing and actually become a prime...

  I don't care who it is, I felt ripped off paying $10 for that RTS G2 Prime mold, I can't even imagine how someone would feel paying like $80 for it.

If it is Scourge, do yourself a favor and drop that money on the original RID version.
