    Was just reading the BotCon thread in Conventions and nope, most folks feel with Transformers: The Ride going online, it'll be in Pasadena again. Nothing firm yet tho... *shrugs*

    If Fun Pub pulled off getting Hasbro to let them do Scourge it's one of the most brilliant things they could have done. This WILL sell sets.

    Oh boy I hope this is true. a nice 6 hr drive for me.

    ...... tv show characters shouldnt be exclusives its just retarted for the rest of the world but the USA

    now shatterd glass g2 prime that looks like scourge i can live with as long at some point we get a scourge

    It just looks like it's Ultra Magnus to me. He has been that G2 mold too.

    I hope not. Not unless they do a trailer/armor for him and that has the same chance of happening as a snowball's chance on Tatooine. I am SICK of Ultra Magnus just being a half-assed white Prime repaint

    And, no guys, it's just rumored as a "top contender", so I was just throwing out hype: sorry if it came off wrong.

    But I swear, even if the theme was "robo turds", I'd still be willing to walk to it if it was in chicago.

    Kickback did an article which explains some of the complications with getting RiD characters out at retail - basically because the show rights are a mess, so are the characters:

    Ultimately, I'd love it if we got an RiD set. But let's not read too much into this right now - all we definitely know for sure 100% is we are getting something using the RTS era molds.

    I don't care if it's G2 Prime, Scourge, Laser Magnus, Nemesis, SG Nemesis or whoever else. That mold is too effing small and I just don't see myself buying multiple suits for it just to make it bigger. Pretty sure that's a pass.

    Interesting. Any idea if it's a new head?

    After all, we already got 2 decoes of it. So a new head seems likely given the mold is pretty definitively Bludgeon headwise.

    Pretty much agree with everyone that this isn't Scourge, and more likely an Ultra Magnus repaint (prolly, could be something else o_O ?). Either way, Maketoys needs to hurry up and get online retailers some info on Tanker....NAOOOO!!!!
