    "And you must be....The Monopoly Guy?", I think the site/scanner gimmick would blend better flipped around. Interesting so far.

    That was what I was thinking. Resistance is like, totally futile.

    I've since added some paint touches to help the head a bit. That "monocle" is unfortunately glued on like a rock (gotta love that model glue) and can't be easily removed. I have another Meister available, but I planned on "saving" him for another project.

    Heh. The Borg comment was funny and I have to admit, despite my best intentions, he did come out like a Borg-bot. I may try different paint applications to try to make it "look" better. That little monocle piece came from a Microman toy, and was meant to be mounted horizontal.

    As for the "blue" meister, I just did a head swap between Jazz and Shockwave. I'm debating painting the car mode a darker color such as black, and making some scale Mazdaspeed graphics such as the real car has available. Suggestions, comments?

    I know some people aren't going to like Scanout and I can handle that. I've seen some repaints and kitbashes that I didn't care for, and just passed them by. The main reason I'm doing these "customs" is for my own personal enjoyment and as stress relief.

    Great idea you have. It looks a wee bit too big though. Maybe a little trim so it does'nt cover his nose. But what do I know, I lack the skills to do this lol
    Still pretty cool and he fits his name perfect.

    Skill?!? Oh, come on, don't count yourself short! It just takes time and patience. My first customs were, of all things, transforming Gundams. I may find them, dust them off, and take photos of them. Many of my parts come from Gundams, Neon Genesis Evangelion toys, ANYTHING with decent wheels, and G.I. Joe toys. All it takes is a good imagination, time, and patience.

    Here is the thread for my "first" custom Transformer;

    Here is a redone, and finished, head for Scanout;

    [IMG]

    And his robot mode, with blacked out lights;

    From my perspective the robot mode is complete, but the vehicle mode needs a bit more. I'm considering either a custom two-tone paint job with pinstripe, or just add simple racing stripes. Suggestions?

    Re-done head is much better. For my money, the arms and maybe chest of the robot mode are a little too dark in comparison to the legs. If you can find any spots where some grey/silver would seem befitting then I suggest puttng there, particulalrly on the arms. Cool stuff!

    For the chest, I may add to the whole vehicle mode a two-tone layer, or add some tasteful accents to the front.

    I'd suggest the tribal sticker kit, but I don't think that the black would look good on that. Maybe something along those lines, but a different color?

    I like that suggestion, and may try designing some graphics using an ancient Decepticon symbol as a focal point with flames going down the hood, top, and sides away from it.
