Well live and learn.. Never slam a 40mm shell onto a bug...
He finds a 40mm shell and assumes it's not a live round? Idiot.
What I wanna know, is if he found it hunting, why would he assume that it wasn't a live round? It obviously still had the primer in it.
On a side note 'ouch'
What an idiot.
Thats too freaking classic, sorry for his hand though.
All I can say is ouch.
What a moron.
Remember kids, gun shells don't blow up hands, people with gun shells blow up hands.
While I feel sorry for his hand (probably can't use it anymore) I think he's a idiot for not knowing the ammo is still inside, being a hunter and all.
NOBODY ever claimed we had the world's smartest teachers...
"Der, ah found the durned thing when ah was out a-huntin'. Ah figured the sumbitch was a dud."
Sorry. I should feel bad for the guy, but instead I find myself laughing hysterically.
Well they do call them "teachers" because we're supposed to learn something from them... Maybe the kids will learn not to be stupid.
Let's all give him a great big hand.... ooops...
As Carlos Mencia always says to a person who does a stupid thing:
"Dee dee dee!"
But anywho, I guess I feel sorry for the teacher, hopefully he learned something. Kill the bug with a shoe, not a 40mm shell.
Or if you're going to kill the bug with a shell, fire it from a gun, not your fist.
That sucks, but has to be one of the stupidest things I've heard someone do. Bet it was pretty interesting for those 20-25 students in his class. I mean ya gotta figure when they talked to their parents on what happened in schoo, "um my teacher's hand went boom and wasn't there anymore". Gotta be pretty shocking for the kids to see that.
Oops! I missed something (looks like most of us did). He wasn't teaching kids.
"The 5-inch-long shell exploded Monday while Robert Colla was teaching 20 to 25 students at an adult education class."
