To all TCC members, just got this from Brian and FP:

We have found another way to ship some product to our non-US
customers at a lower cost and it has been implemented into the store. It is
called Global Priority Mail. This service does have some limitations. The
shipment must fit into a box that is no more than 36 inches by adding
length+girth+height. Also, the order cannot be over 4 lbs.

For example a 1 lb package to the United Kingdom via surface mail is $24.25 and
    takes 4-6 weeks.

The same package via airmail is $16.75 and takes 7-10 days.

The same package via Global Priority is $10.50 and takes 4-6 days.

I know, it doesn't seem to make much sense but that's the USPS rates and delivry
    standards.

We hope that this lowers some of the foreign shipments costs. It won't work for
all orders as the items are tool large or the order will be 100 heavy. We think
it will work for the bulk of your orders.

Make sure you check the store each week at transformersclub.com/shop to see what
the new items in stock an the weekly specials!

    Thanks for your support,

    Brian

Certainly good news, but why couldn't this have been done nearly a year ago the first time we pointed it out?

Here is the deal. People have offered up feedback, complaints and so on. Despite what some people say, Brian and FP does listen. Changes were made, you were obviously heard. So, instead of trying to start something by saying, well, why not a year ago, how about just appreciate that the change has been made and understand the fact that some things take time. It is not as simple as someone who is mailing out a personal package deciding to go to the Post Office instead of UPS.

The change has been made. Can we all just keep working on making this whole Club and Convention better as opposed to pointing fingers? Cool? Alright, oh, and there is more to come :thumbs2:

Hopefully a drop in international membership costs; that'd definitely get my money come May, when it's renewal time...

Reading some of the replies from FP on the subject of international shipping over the last year, this seems rather pot/kettle.

Thumbs up and kudos for offering more choice. Do the same with the store exclusives and I'm sure you'll have the toy-collecting segment of the fandom eating out of your hand -- especially if you throw in bio cards and characterisation. Works for all ages.

Quick question: as duly appointed official club/convention does FP have the IP rights to the original movie score sold at previous Botcons and through the old store?

    Woah that is great news.
I might actually join up now. How much is for membership?
Edit - Hang on, is it $89? Hmm thats still too steep for me.

If I order a deluxe and a mega, I think it'll fit into the size and weight restrictions.
Can you confirm that it does before I order them please?
    Thanks.

Taken them a year to check out postage prices in order to expand sales opportunities abroad? Would have taken anyone with an internet connection 15 minutes.

Step in the right direction but got a long way to go to atone for going on about bubble wrap costs in my eyes.

This is good news: one other thing I'd like if it could be passed along: a dual "both ship at once" membership of the TF CC and Gijoe CC, seeing as the Mastercollector magazine is common to both I'd rather not pay for two copies.
