Before this gets moved to the Toy forum...

Dude, there's nothing in this article that suggests that toys are or will be cheaper at Target than Walmart. This was a market research study comparing prices on "everyday products" -- "general merchandise products such as clothing and home furnishings; and...health and beauty items."

Toys weren't even a consideration for this. They are a "sometimes" product.

I have always found prices to be kinda random from time to time, I have a Wal-mart, Target, Meijer and Toys R Us in my immediate area that stocks transformers, and between the 4 of them at any given time you can find something on sale at one and if you look hard enough you can get some good deals..

That is IF IF IF IF IF IF they ever have any freaking thing there that's not a year older or more.

Who cares about a lousy buck or two one way or the other. Who's got the best selection of Tuner Mudflaps?

My biggest issue with both of them is how sloooowwwwwwwwwwwww they are in getting NEW stock. Their prices are nothing to happy about when it comes to Transformers.

I have no problems with Target in my area. Wal-mart is a different story.

I'm more interested in case study "Target vs Wal-Mart: Who is Actually Giving a Damn When it Comes to Buying and Stocking Our Plastic Crack?"

most of stores selling new tfs except Walgreen have them for barley a different price then each other. the few cents wouldn't make me go to another just to get. Plus the money saved driving farther to get it a bit cheaper would go to gas instead anyways.

My wife and I are more than willing to pay the extra $1 or so just to have a better shopping experience at Target anyways. peopleofwalmart.com exists for a reason.
