This may or may not constitute an actual news story, so move it appropriately. My Target store here in Columbus (I-270/Fishinger) just got in their first box of Animated's. Voyager Class Lugnut/Grimlock, to be exact. The sticker for their Ad date was 6-22. Which means they'll be widely avaliable through Target stores on that date. Happy hunting. Yeah, I talked to our local Hasbro rep last week. She said that Target has an end cap scheduled for the 22nd which includes the Animated toys and their exclusive Starscream. I've been punching in the DCPI's at the two Targets I frequent and neither have any Animated toys yet. I really hope they get them in by the 22nd. I want to use my $5 off coupons.
Yep, end cap set date for 6/22 which will have DS Starscream, the Animated Versus Two Pack and the Animated Voyagers. The Deluxes will get one strip of pegs down the main aisle so Target can keep as much of the movie line out as possible. This will bite them in the ass as movie stuff has slowly starting to stagnate...

Yeah, I set the revision down the main aisle early yesterday so a co-worker could pick up some deluxes. Also, most stores should be setting the endcap a week early since most toy endcaps are looking pretty blown out (at least in my store). So keep an eye out for the endcap some next week, but don't be disappointed if your store does wait until the week of the 22nd.
Dude, we don't even have any of the product for the endcap in (and Anthony & myself have been keeping an eye on things). No Animated anything and no Deep Space SS. I'd be surprised if we have any by the 22nd. Thank god there's Wal-Mart.
I'll be lucky if the local Super Targer has it out a week after the 22nd. I'm always on their case to get stuff out on time.
