Wow.. just when I thought the price of Walmart's exclusives couldn't get any more ridiculous.

Thanks for playing Wal-Mart. I guess you're too busy tackling your customers to figure out how to set reasonable price points.

Oh wow... It has begun! They have finally grown so large that they can charge whatever they want because they are the only store left!
(Seriously though, $30 Wtf?! Good thing I got these last year).

Who set these prices? It's bad enough that movie scouts are $10, but how does 10 + 10 = 30?

It's an error. Considering they were selling a deluxe two-pack for $27, this isn't going to be selling for $30. I'll bet a kidney on it.

I agree, I wouldn't be surprised if these are gonna be a black friday sale item maybe for $13. Considering they had the Cybertron 2 packs 2 years ago as part of a black friday sale. It would be easy for someone to mishear thirteen and think they said thirty.

I'm sure that's an error. Wal-Mart usually has good prices and that's more of a rip off than the Rite Aid "Warriors of Three Worlds" pack.

Is that supposed to say $9? That's a lot better than the $30 on the website.

Yeah, it's $9. (I've edited my previous post to include the page with the missing dollar sign.)

That's called "Headroom for rollback pricing". Gotta get discounts somewhere right? Why not have them come from the overpriced starting point?

it was expensive for Walmart to buy them all off Target and repackage them.

Yeah, but this is just plain ridiculous. No one would ever think these cost $30 in the first place - but what do they care, they're getting a great deal  .

Occurs to me that maybe they just wanted to have them in the system early and the $30 is just to discourage people from buying them - and yet if anyone does buy them WM makes out like a bandit. Win-win for WM.
