    Hi guys,

I been bouncing around the boards but don't think I've ever posted, LOL.

Anyhow, in an attempt to keep me busy Ive started to scratch build my own Target Master Weapon.

This is the weapon mode that I ma trying for, the arms will close over the chest adding some bulk to take away from the length.

Here he is in his humanoid mode. The arms arn't finished yet. But I'm thinking that he is starting to look a tad gangley around the joints.

And this is what I've made so far standing next to RTS Nightstick.

    Update Feb 25th,

I know the picture is a little dark, I blame my camara.
    Anyhow...
The gaps in his forarms are where the two little square hands (by his feet) are going to go when I have filled the gaps.
Also the stacks on his back come off and plug into the ends of his arms, making the guns barrels.

    Update Feb 26th,

I've decided to change the transformation and the alt mode for VS01.
The previous weapon was too long and very flimsy, it didn't hold its form very well, and... TBH looked messy.

This new Weapon, I feel, looks a lot better. I have had to add a joint at the waist and Ive also changed the feet and turned his legs around. Robot mode remains unchanged by this other than the dark bit on his legs now fave forward.

Its a lot sturdier, and has a more chunky feel to it.
I personally like it a lot more this way.

    Update March 4th

Head is pretty much finished. Just needs a little cleaning and detail.

    Here Twinshot in parts.

And a few weapon mode shots.

    Update March 13th,

Twinshot VS-01 is now complete. Buildwise.
Still have to undercoat and check for any problems areas / cracks. Then its painting time.

    And Weapon Mode (Final)

I'll get some more pics of Twinshot in Robot mode up soon, he is very loose due to needing a coat of paint so he's hard to possition.

    Any feedback will be greatfull.

    Thanks

Looking very cool so far. Given your "VS01" etc codenames, would I be correct in guessing that you plan to cast these for sale?

    Thanks guys.

Casting them is an option that I have been taking into account from the beginning.
The hardest part of this design is to make it so that it can be popped apart at several points so that it can be cast if needed.

    As am I. :)
I agree with you about the handle, by the way. Given how long the gun is turning out, I'd say it'd be better off nearer the hips.

You'd probably get more feedback here if you posted your work here instead of shooting a link.

Now THAT is a sweet little robo-gun-dude! I like what you did with the hands, it's simple, but its an effective compromise of the sort Hasbro uses all the time!

I absolutely love it and sincerely appreciate the design being based around the pose ability of the figure (im assuming). Very nice work!
