http://comicnewsi.com/article.php?catid=208&itemid=10370 Starscream in Protoform. So I take it this is Starscream's side of the story? It'll be good considering they weren't able to fit him in the film much.
Since they tell you that the Walmart dvd comes with all four comics, with sound and voiceover work, and with Peter Cullen doing the voice work, why would anyone get the Target version? Completists, right.. my bad. Nobody else though.
Count me in. I'm buying this in addition to the HD version thanks to Don's pencils. If it had been Su, I would have passed.
but i want the comic... brain hurts.. hard choice... dvd > comic book... o.k., walmart here i come...
I'm guessing. I think on the 16th- when the DVD comes out, I'll wait until after I wake up (mid/late afternoon) and figure which copy to get (Target or Walmart). And see what's what, I'm sure you guys and girls will keep us posted :3. I really like Starscream's character in the prequel novel. So I'm hoping the Target comic is based on his side of the story. But if the Wal-Mart animated feature really is a actual animated cartoon and not just a sliding panel of the comics with voices overs, then I'll probably look into getting both. 8(... *saves monies* and give the extra DVD to a friend.
Another cool cover ruined by Target's RoboVision red...thing. Josh, any chance of posting your original on DA or something?
Cool. I was planning on getting the DVD at Target anyways, so this will be a nice bonus (I'm no-longer a Walmart fan).
Target's is a new comic that fits in with the four prequel ones. Similar to the free Target one they gave out when the movie came out. That one expanded on Bumblebee's attempts to track down Sam.
Does anyone know if these exclusives, the tpb comic and the dvd comic, come with all three versions of the movie or if they only come with the special edition and HD DVD editions?
Isn't that just the same cover as the one shown for the movie "sequel" comic, "The Search for Starscream", but with the red Robovision stuff added?
dude,go to the bookstore and get all 4 issues in trade paperback form for under $20. there's a bunch more from idw there as well,a lot of which are don,who does indeed kick ass.
