Does anyone have the DCPI #s for Reveal the Shield? That would aid those who hunt in the wild a lot. Or could you point me to them?

There may not be one. Depending on how Hasbro is listing them, Target may simply consider them part of the same series of produt as the Generations and HFTD figures and keep using that DPCI.

BTW, it is DPCI, not DCPI. (D)e(P)artment, (C)lass, (I)tem. :)

If its not a store exclusive, I find its better to wait. Than use DCPIs.

They should not have reveal the shield yet anyway. There are a ton of other things to get out. And most places are still being crushed under wave one generations bumblebee, and on the yellow cards: sea attack ravage.

Sea attack ravage is the new tuner mudflap.

Reveal the Shield and Hunt for the Decepticons are basically the same "item" as far as retailer computers are concerned. As such, the DPCI number won't help you because it also applies to the current yellow box figures on shelves.

If it's true that RTS = HFTD as far as retailers go, then that's sad for distribution. Sea attack kitty for ever!

Remains to be proven, though. Pkging change ordinarily means reset and clearance out the old stuff.

    Good luck with that.

Meanwhile, HftD and Generations have the same code?

    Well he's right.

And I assume they will. HFTD is simply listed as Transformers DLX in our system basically (I'll get the exact listing when I go in tonight). Pretty sure RTS will do the same.

While you're there, you can confirm that HFTD and Generations have separate DPCI numbers, which was what he actually asked.

About what? That it's actually "DPCI"?

Of course he is. I've been barking up that tree for years, but almost noone ever listens. Hence: "Good luck with that."

And a bit of searching reveals that that Gen and HftD do not share a DPCI.

    HftD Deluxe: 087-06-1889
    Generations: 087-06-1890

And I'm betting RtS Deluxes will have a new one.

It's pretty obvious that they're not sharing the same DPCI, since they're two separate assortments shipping concurrently. ;)

However, Reveal the Shield is indeed just the continuation of "Hunt for the Decepticons", with all relevant assortments just changing from one secondary title to another.

That was what I thought, but Sidecutter's post suggested otherwise.

True. RtS may keep the HftD codes, I guess. Which, of course, will make them useless for determining whether RtS figures are in stock.

Either way, we should find out soon.

Yeah, Generations and HFTD are completely seperate lines/items in our system.
