first off, if you broke one of the propellers you were doing something wrong. you are never required to put that amount of force on them. entirely you're fault.

second, it isn't the toy's fault you're too thick to line the propellers up. also entirely your fault.

Mine had the same problem, buit I jsut kept pushing it together and one time it stuck...wierd.

As for the figure in general, I like him. Sure the Plane looks like a truck and the truck looks liek a plane, but the bot modes looks nice and he is a triple changer...

Well, by using Hulk like strength, I was able to SQUEEZE it together. It is currently on my table, seeing if the plastic will maybe expand for the peg.

So, when I opened Tankor, I liked his plane mode pretty well. Then going to his tanker mode, well, it was disapointing. Just didn't strike me as much of anything. Now, his robot mode really disapointed me with his stubby arms. However, after seeing the pic in this thread with his shoulders lowered to be aligned horizontally with the top of his torso, my opinion of his bot mode really changes. His arms were now proportioned well and his overall appearance was great.

He's cool, but still falls behind Prowl and Sunstreaker IMO.

It is the weakest of the first wave. Astrotrain beats it by...alot.

He just needs to loosen up, I couldn't get mine together when I first got him but afte a couple of transformations and making sure I line him up, he works fine now. He rolls without coming apart and I even dropped him lightly from 2 feet onto carpet and the cab stayed together.

I tried your suggestion and couldn't get the head to clear his "collar", no matter how much I turned the screw. I did find out that he does have a neck, as it were.

There is a small tube of plastic at the bottom of his head (where the screw goes in). This tube fits very tightly into the hole on the sliding piece and was pushed all the way down on mine.

After I loosened the screw to the point that I thought his head would fall off, I pulled gently up on the head and revealed his "neck."

I was able to move it so that his head clears his collar, but stays in position. Once I got it in position, I re-tightened the screw and it seems to hold the head in place. The head now stays at the correct height without any additional fiddling from me, no matter how many times I move the slider section. I can't tell whether the screw had any effect on it, though.

The head on mine still sticks above his "collar" a little, but there is enough of a gap in his shoulders/plane halves so they still close properly.

I unscrewed and separated the arms and legs, but I still can't split the torso section, cos I don't know where it separates.

Could you please provide a picture on how to separate the torso?

Check out the quote in the post above yours. There's also another method that the OP mentioned earlier in the thread, but it requires a heat source and some experience.

Personally, I've found Tim's method to be much easier. Maybe I can snap some pics with my new phone when I get home.

what i think you're missing is that the torso assembly isn't just two pieces with a line down the center, it's four. the shoulders and neck assembly sit in between the two halves of his torso and his waist is connected in the bottom. when in robot mode, slide his head all the way up and you'll see a line there under the chest panels, pop a knife or flathead screwdriver in there and wriggle it the side until it pops open, and the pieces come apart very easily.

OK; I was able to open it thanks to your advises, but guess what: the screw has not the cross pattern...it's completely round in the middle!!!! Damn it! That effort to find that! lol

    Thanks anyway.
