I have a set of Act 2's. The Tamashii Stage sets come with multiple arms of varying lengths that can be swapped on to the joints. They can hold up an SH Figuart in a variety of poses. I tend to find - with the Act 2, at least - that the stand's balance tends to give out before the joints (although the Act 2 has a different base than the Act 5). I've heard that a figure with a lot of diecast, like the old Souchaku Henshins, need more than one arm to hold them up.

The grips can hold a pretty decent size. You can get at least a good inch in one solidly.

Thanks! My main fear was that the joints might give on some of my larger figures, but if they are strong, then no worries.

They're really light so its much more likly the balance is the problem. The arms are ratcheted IIRC.

But as long as I keep the figure centered it will be okay?

Giving it some more thought, I might try to find a larger stand, for my larger figures.
