I'm at that pivotal stage now where everything seems more expensive and parents suddenly become distant. Yes, you guessed it, i'm outta college and just got a job. I have to put my radicons custom ideas on hold, as i adjust. My paint brushes etc. are better spent doing actual paintings ( which I can sell ) or even writing short stories ( which i can sell or submit in annual competitions) than making a radicon, which I "may" sell. I don't part with my artwork easily, however as i've been drawing all my life, its easier for me to sell a painting than a radicon. Its even easier to sell a story, since i'd still have the mauscript with me. But I'd be reluctant to sell a radicon that i spent 8 months building. I still love TF, and I will continue to check this site. But i just can't spend my nights building radicons. I just don't have enough surplus income to justify such an expensive hobby right now.
