Honestly, I'm alright with this. Don't get me wrong, I know people love premium figures, I get it, I do but this will probably help us in the long run. It won't lower prices, but we might see more figures since they're both using the same toys, right down to paint deco. 1 production run, 2 companies, a bunch of savings. It'll probably line their pockets instead, but we can hope otherwise. That said, I'm betting Takara will make a few odds and ends that Hasbro won't like they did with Ginrai and Caliber Optimus. (I'm not counting God Bomber, right now. He was a whole new mold while the other figures were retools of existing ones.) I don't know if we'll see another God Bomber situation in this line, but we might see some slight mods. At least we'll save money.
