I can't count how many times I've been excited by the look of a prototype only to recoil in disgust when I see the plastic colors they use in production. The TFC Poseidon toys looked pretty good until I saw them in color. So many third party toys get ruined by their odd color choices.
Man. Blot looks fantastic. I wish they could figure out a way to make the figure smell. Stink would make that toy perfect.
Anyone remember getting Stinkor as a kid? That figure smelled.

You say that like Transformers isn't already known for repacks and repaints.
Interesting, TakaraTomy Mall is offering a separate listing of all 5 Terrorcons as a set. They are listing it as a TT Mall Original "オリジナル".
PP-21-25 Terrorcon Abominus Set
Photos show the item as identical to the individual releases.
Never has a figure been more inappropriate for army building and never have I wanted to Army build something more. Bludgeon is metal he's always been metal and every time there's a new toy of him he's more and more metal.
Those are not the same as Hasbro's. The figures are posed well and transformed correctly. Hasbro NEVER does that in stock photos.
"Remembers the WonderFest display of these figures with the "参考出品 (Sample Display)" sign added"
"Sample Display" my rear tailpipe.
And with this, our hopes of a TT Mall UW Abominus in cartoon colors are all but gone.
It never occured to me to use the spare combiner hand on the foot as a heel spur.
I never cared about the terrorcons but this set looks so great in general.
Also yep I'm also in the "everything looks cooler as a grey prototype" group. Though I'm sure it'd become boring as an actual part of your collection after a while.
Grey prototypes better ?
Any product's looks fall or stand with display/photography lighting.
For pictures, flashlight usually makes figures look bad - for display, TL tube lighting is usually unflattering as well.
The photos are the only thing different. The figures themselves are identical.
Abominus looks to be the best official combiner ever.
Never understood the love for monkeyjetprime. I absolutely hated the original toy, it just looks stupid to me. Vehicle modes are trash. And this one has a smaller primal that turns into a surfboard brick? No thanks.
Abominus though, yes please.
Cough. Hasbro flubbing up the paint scheme to make great toys look like meh? Wow..what a surprise.
Like Takara's would be different?
You can thank the nice folks at Hasbro's "Brand Unification" department for this shitstorm.
