Cool... The toy commercials for TakaraTomy looks way better than the ones Hasbro did for their ROTF toys....

Whoa damn cool man! I've always wanted to see a full G1 clip in japanese. even tho it's my first time seeing it, I thought the voice acting for each of the respective characters is spot on. :thumbs2:

Yup I concur the ads by Taktomy for their ROTF line is much more interesting than Hasbro's one.

EDIT: got it working. Man, those Japanese commercials are boring and annoying. G1 episode was actually kinda interesting.

I'm shocked that the japanese toys are using the American names and voices.

Unless I'm mistaken, didn't Masamune Issei also do a few (not all, but a few) of the commercials for Henshin Cyborg? He's like their Victor Caroli. Ah, now there's a voice I wouldn't mind hearing in Transformers again in some capacity. If Issei isn't voicing Soundwave in the Japanese dub, I'll be rather surprised.

Also, huh, they made their own ad for the Revenge of the Fallen toys, instead of just dubbing our toy ad in Japanese like they did with the first movie (although they did make their own ad for the Fast Action Battlers that year). Also, I was watching some Japanese TV online tonight, and noticed the movie ads over there are dubbed into Japanese this time, instead of just being English with Japanese subtitles. Seems like they're putting a little more effort into it this year.

I also find it rather amusing that their toy ads for the movie, despite clearly being uniquely Japanese, use no stop motion like all their other ads have for decades, and still use it for other current toylines (like Tomica Hero Rescue Force).
