So.....I really like the color palate for takara's release vs hasbro's so im in on that, that said I really dont care about the massive sword as I have no connection to the media it dawns from. What are the odds I can unload it to someone who is more interested?

 

Highly likely somebody on here would buy the sword from you. For instance, I'd love for my Fort Max to have an official sword, but I don't want to pay significantly extra for the Takara version just to get the sword.

 

I'll probably use the faction symbols and maybe some other bits. Too much of it is just busy work and junks up the appearance. I will never apply those ramp arrows. They were a huge pain on Metroplex. Needed to be trimmed and were just a chore all around. When I replaced the SDCC version with the Takara version, I left all the stickers off. He looks great without them. As for Reprolabels, who knows? There's way too much in the set. Some of it looks great, most is unnecessary to me. Not a fan of how busy their sets make figures look. I think the decision to do the FOC styled holgraphics was a bad decision too. Long story short, I don't care for them but they aren't for me anyway.

I'm still undecided if I should pick this...while I prefer TT's version, I actually like the Cerebros' head for the Hasbro version.

Right now I want nothing more than to add this to my Hasbro and SDCC Max, but I can't find a source for under £211 posted to the UK, even from UK retailers. That's officially more than I want to spend on this.

How can I possibly live without a city that plays the Headmasters theme tune? Sad day.

it's nice that each one is fairly unique looking ~ i really wish one of the US versions didn't have the ugly red shin wrap around the guns, that is literally the one thing that pushes me over the edge to TT ~ I mean, i like the TT deco better in general and find it more cohesive, but there's really no deal breakers on the US versions aside from those shins...
