Assuming Hasbro releases a Skywarp repaint, I might get him. I don't plan on getting Starscream, wouldn't really be that interested in a Thundercracker, and I wouldn't feel compelled to own all three just because I bought one of them. One of the mold will be enough for me.

I'll probably get Takara Skywarp. Even if Hasbro puts one out, I'm willing to bet the Takara one will have a better deco.

a few imports are worth the extra money, and that's a lot of extra money. but most aren't that different.

I always find trying to get Seekers is sort of a risk. Starscream, to me, is fine alone, but Thundercracker and Skywarp alone or any combination of just 2 seekers to me looks like its desperately missing something. So, in other words, by buying Skywarp I'll feel my collection needs a Thundercracker, but I could be content with just Starscream.

Still, I'll take the risk as I'd love a WFC Seeker trio, so I'll preorder Skywarp.

Fall of the moon deluxe DD-10 Skywarp is still going for the stupid prices on ebay. That mold was not the greatest and people had the need to pay upwards of 50 bucks to import from ebay. I think I will get this one now since I actually like what I see so far in the reviews for this mold.

my one concern is that Skywarp and TC from Takara will have Glossy paint schemes while my US Starscream won't...I'll probably have to rebuy Starscream...

Will have to grab that Skywarp unless haasbro announces one before it comes out. Fortunately for me looks like this is coming out near my birthday.

I'm preordering this from Kapow later. With Beast Hunters looming, I'm not getting my hopes up for any more Hasbro Generations toys other than the ones we've already seen, and even then I think Ruination will be struck down with the dreaded "Last Wave Syndrome".

Sweet! You can always depend on Takara for Skywarp and black repaints. Must preorder.

I'll get Skywarp and I'm sticking with the Hasbro Blaster due to cost.

    Ebay:
4th since DOTM, 5th if you count the classics box set [DoTM DD-10, EZ Collection, Arms Micron, FoC]

eBay is probably the worst place in the world to buy import figures. DD-10 could be (and still can be) had for much less than that. Patience and diligence are key.

RE: original topic - not surprising news, but still welcomed. I'm just glad it's announced before we see FoC Starscream in the US, saves me the trouble of stocking up for customs in the event SW & TC go unreleased.

I'm not counting on Hasbro to get around to Skywarp. I've been waiting on a Legion/Legends class Skywarp ever since they showed pics of Starscream, now with TC and SS getting remold releases in the states, you'd figure Skywarp wouldn't be far behind. Not the case, apparently. So if history serves, we'll be lucky to even get Thundercracker in the Generations line.

When was the last time Hasbro gave us the full Seeker trio as a single mold anyway?

Ugh... Add another Takara only Skywarp to the never ending list...

What is with Japan and Skywarp? They get him all the time and we rarely do here in the US!

Do we just like Starscream and Thundercracker because their red, white, and blue? I don't know, but we've gotten 3 alone this year, and only 1 Skywarp.

I just think Hasbro needs to distribute the love...

I want my Legends Skywarp, FOC Generations Skywarp, and kinda somewhat want DOTM and AM Prime Skywarps.

Agreed. Never been much of a seeker collector aside from Starscream. As for Blaster, well, the G1 toy was much bigger than Soundwave. This makes the voyager so much more desirable for Blaster, while keeping Soundwave as a deluxe for scale.

    More than that actually:

    DotM Deluxe
    EZ Animated Clear Purple
    Activator Animated
    EZ Chronicles (G1)
    Arms Micron
Generations FoC (if this ends up an exclusive)

That's not counting things like the Classics Seeker Ace version either.

Lack of buying him doesn't support him getting a release here. Not buying him just makes you not have him.

Not sure if he's a main character, but Hasbro seems to be straying away from releasing both Skywarp & Thundercracker from the Starscream mold. Well at least initially.

And you know this how? It's not like you have the Takara one...
