Slurpees are not good, the hotdogs should not be eaten (I remind myself frequently as they look soooooooooooo tempting!) And I hope to go to my grave having no idea what the bathrooms look like!

I look forward to one day visiting a Japanese 7/11 and confusing the heck out of the staff by taking pictures of it for my friends back home!

Oh, those crazy Japanese, look, they have edible food and quality items in 7/11. Whatever next?!!

If this is still around next year I may pick one up but I sincerely doubt it, at least not at a price I will want to pay and my friend isn't going to be back in Tokyo until April... We shall see. Worst case, I'll just enjoy all your photos!

Makes me wonder if I should open him or keep him MISB. I do have the MP10 second version and transform him quite a bit. So I’m thinking if it’s redundant to play with the 7-11 version. Kinda tough for me to decide.

American 7-Elevens are to be avoided at all costs, yeah. Japanese 7-Elevens are actually convenient, the food is edible (good even, in the case of the bento lunches, cold sandwiches, oden hot pot dishes -- my wife loves the stuff, fried foods like chicken, and onigiri rice-balls plus the drinks are great), and they offer a lot of services that most American/Western convenience stores don't.

My father-in-law is a manager at a bento/osechi factory that makes pre-packaged food solely for 7-Eleven. Part of his job is actually tasting the food before it goes out for distribution, and he likes it very much (even if he's very busy and works a lot of long hours, especially for New Year's meals).

Part of the reason I preordered this figure is because of him, if I'm being honest (that and we love 7-Eleven here). :D

In order to order 7-11 Optimus you have to be able to pick him up at the 7-11 store you ordered him from. So you got to live there, or at least be able to pick him up in person.

Good... because I didn’t see the forwarding service I used going to a 7-11 to pick this up.

Hi, can somebody please help to answer the following,

I have this on preorder from AE I paid 32000¥. Shipping will probably be around 5000 yen as it is a heavy item.

What will AE mark the value as?

I know that for MP39 which was around 8000¥ they marked 2200 and shipping 2400 so got through customs easy.

Has anyone ordered to the value of 32000¥?

Has anybody ordered an MP10 before? can you remember what they marked it as specifically for shipping to the UK?

I would need it to be under £15

    Thanks

I guess it's right around the corner before this figure comes out. I had a friend who lives in Japan preorder this for me. Hopefully she'll have no problem sending it.

When I was visiting Tokyo in late 2016, 7-11's there were a life saver. Who knew you could actually get almost everything & anything in Japanese combi / convenient shops like 7-11 of all places?! :lol
and dude, I dont think the amazing convenient shops are really available in all parts of Asia. My country's 7-11 pales in comparison with Japan's, for sure. ;)

Luckily I’m in Korea and our convenience stores are pretty nice as well. Japanese convenience stores are still on a higher level but ours are still very nice. Asia is super lol

    Hi,
You said they mark down the value on all packages. MP711 however, will be a larger and heavier package. Do you think they will mark this the same value as the smaller MP’s I think 2200 jpy is around £14.
    Thanks for you help

You're a couple of weeks early, he's due on the last day of the month. Early releases may happen but I'd imagine that'd be the Friday before.
