Silverbolt looks good. Onslaught looks good.
    Powerglide looks really silly.

All three look great. Powerglide's package is wonky, because the kept the original artwork.

That's what "USA edition" means. Hasbro packaging with some Kanji stickers on the box.

I know what "USA Edition" means. I just thought they were being released in the Henkei line. It never even dawned on me that they were USA Edition but with different paint aps...

Yeah, that's a bit unusual. Usually USA Edition just means USA figure with some kanji on the package. I can only think of one other time that something liked that happened... with the Red version of Powerlinx Thrust... though we were originally supposed to get that one state side as a running change that never ended up taking place.

Some stores always put out toys a few days earlier. Official release is Thursday, which is a little more than 24 hours away in Japan. ;)

Meanwhile, several "European" countries did get red Powerlinx Thrust... starting with Israel (!).

Yeah, that was fun. How many different places did we end up seeing that guy? Shame really (well, good for those countries, sucks for the US).

Aside from Israel, I got confirmations from Italy, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom.

FFN also found him in a store in Australia, also in European packaging.

So... I am a little new here....

Does that mean they are being released for US retail? When?

I was thinking about getting Stormcloud, but seeing Red Powerglide has changed my mind.

The "USA Edition" does not sound right at all... since the colors don't match...

I don't know... I think I might be re-sold on this repaint. I lost interest when some of the pics we saw a few months ago showed next to no detailing and the red appeared to be more of a pinky/orange, but now it's looking pretty good since the red seems deeper.

No. All it means is that they're being released in Japan using the original Hasbro (aka USA) packaging as opposed to Takara's own Henkei packaging.

You won't see these versions on US store shelves, but you can order them through some of the online outlets like BBTS, TFSource, etc.

I'm kinda getting tired of the cartoon movie accurate US/Japanese packaging stuff. Besides the main issue money (cause we're all suckers) why can't we get the packaging, color decos and names right the first time.
