And the only unique TFs that Takara makes these days are TakaraTomy Mall exclusives and Movie Masterpieces, if you can afford either of them. I know it's probably not going to happen,but I'd really like to see Takara go back to making many mainline TFs with their own decos someday.

I got that boxset and happy ith it thou i wasn nto after a Legends so yes i can relate to that, thou I did not like the TT colors for the Autobot Clones. I would of gotten some if they not had the battle damage paint apps. As for Takara tomy they where pulled from doing thier stuff to help make the Bee movie toyline, so they line was strait up remakes of Hasbro's which was sorta nice in cases like SDCC Optimal Optimus.

 

Sorry to bump the news thread without an update but does anyone know which wave prowl will be in or have a picture or list of the waves with which figures.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all the Western revealed Micromasters now scheduled in Japan?

Which means in a month's time, if not before, there should be some new Micromaster news!

Have they exhausted the western revealed Battlemasters yet?

 

Prowl is Wave 2 deluxe I think with Ironhide, Chromia and Sixgun.
Wave 3 deluxe is Brunt, Reflector, Red Alert plus a n other (s)

I'm trying to recall what else is grouped on the crosssell pics to indicate wave grouping.... Red heat, stakeout and the tapes are w2 Micromasters, Pteraxodon a w2 Battlemaster, Starscream and Soundwave w2 voyagers, all iirc

 

Agreed. Too bad, I'd have LOVED to see Siege Optimus in Henkei Convoy colors.

It's like when people were convinced that Cybertron Jetfire's Japanese Galaxy Force name was "Jet Rock" instead of Dreadrock. Or that Animated Arcee was named "Archie" in Japan.

Prowl's legs don't look so short and squat there than they did in the stock image.

 

The clear plastic of Prowl’s knee joints is going to shatter into a million pieces.

 

I knew that was coming. How many people have had bad experiences with clear plastic?

 

If he can do the tape mode I'll be astonished. But I'm surprised it doesn't seem to be designed with it in mind. Still awesome though.

I am not a fan of all the clear plastic on Prowl.
Even though they remolded Chromia, she seems to have a larger backpack than the combiner versions!
I do like how all of them seem to have large guns that can break down into smaller guns.

 

Soundwave is a buy on sight! I do wish that G1 cassettes could fit in him since I'm not really feeling those Spy Patrol figures but I doubt it. Laserbeak is...okay but Ravage looks terrible. The MP cassettes will still remain my default "Cassetticons" regardless if they fit in Siege Soundwave or not.

Still not a fan of Prowl in either mode. Rescue Patrol is cool and so is Chromia for the most part.

 

Stakeout is a new mold, not a reuse of the Roadhandler's. Ball jointed knees and it looks like there's no rotating waits.
