    Took long enough for an announcement. I wonder if my kids will watch it; they've already seen season one and they're impatiently waiting for season two to begin which will already be underway when it airs here in Japan. Seeing how my son still watches the first season now (maybe because there's nothing else to watch that's Transformers) he may still watch it again when it's on TV. Time will tell.

    I REALLY wanna see the japanese version: what will they do this time? They cut Animated, this is more dark, I think they will go nuts to fit in in a childish target :D

    Sweeet. I hope the asian market gets behind this series. The more support it gets the longer it will live. And we all know the longer a series goes the better the gimmicks get alla combiners and supreme figures (looking at you Omega Supreme)

    Takara is just airing this, not co-producing it like Armada & co. It's already signed on for three seasons in the US if I'm not mistaken.

    If it goes over that it'll be the longest running tf series [BW had three seasons too, G1 with REBIRTH as a fourth season does not count].

    I am hoping for more than 3. Going by Animated, we got a lot of figures but the gems would have come out season 4.

    I'm aware TT has nothing to do with this but Asian market ratings and toy sales will support the project as a whole.

    So, who here wants to see the Cons saluting Megatron in a pro-fascist way in the new intro similar to how the Seeker clones did it in the Animated intro? XD And hopefully the creators will use a suitably dark or epic tone for the song because upbeat/bubbly J-pop music definitely won't fit the theme of TF Prime, heh.

    I look forward to it, but my concern is will they be able to air both seasons of Prime? After all, season 2 of Prime hasn't even aired here.

    I actually am kinda hoping that they make a new opening like for Animated. Sure, it was full of spoilers and over-advertised minor characters like Arcee and Ironhide, but damn, it was epic and badass.

    Japanese subs in Transformers Prime starting in April!? Yes please! If the Japanese version is as good as the Korean version or better I will definitely like it. If videos of it get posted on Youtube I will definitely watch it while I will watch the normal dub on TV. It would be nice to see a different opening instead of the same opening as the dub, but if it's the same opening that's okay.
