Love it but can't bring myself to spend that much on it not being a G1 fan. More money to Hexatron I guess lol

 

Kinda wish I didn't already have Sixshot because then I would be all over this. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Reminds me of Hot Toys packaging or something.

 

The package is well done, it makes me want to pay 150.00 for it.

Still a high price, I stick to my old one.

 

Package is nice, price: not so much. I'll be in Asia Oct/Nov, will consider picking it up if the price is decent there (or if I have luggage space  ), even though I already own a vintage.

FYI I bought mine complete last year at TFCon for $80, decent stickers and minimal wear

 

Yeah, I think $100 is about where I start to balk on this stuff. I'd love for them to reissue that Diaclone Ultra Magnus from back then too but if it was done like this I'd have to pass on it.

If i were in the market for a G1 Sixshot, i would look elsewhere than this just to spite Takara.

 

Price exceeds budget reatraints. Box & metallic paint look nice. The original reissue was nice too. Doubt Tak/Tom would trade original reissue, or original release even up for this one.

 

This is a great looking product and the price reflects that. The black packaging is sleek.

 

Chrome weapons? A chest that looks like it's die cast chrome painted? A black book-styled box?

It looks awesome. Though the price is odd.

 

The entirety of his green torso section is chromed, not just the guns.

As for the silver bits at the base of the wings, those were chromed on the reissue I got years ago, and on the original as well.

 

I like it..love the new updates with chrome and all..I just wish they'd have stuck with the G1 box type so it matches all their others..this will make it stand out and look odd like the Predaking set does.

 

I'm not seeing $150+ here but this is 2012. I'm fine with my reissue from years ago...I do like the box and the chromed guns though.

So yeah, $60 is far from being the norm for a minty mint vintage Sixshot.

Oh, and that new Sixshot looks terrible with the chromed guns and torso. I wonder what they were thinking.

 

Looks that way to me as well. More chrome than just the guns.

That said, and as awesome as this looks, it still wayyyy outta my price range.

 

The price tag is just a bummer on this. Had planned on getting him if he was going to be $100 or less. But not now.

 

Man that is ICE-COLD! A definite buy, since I've always wanted one. And fellas, it's a collector's grade item, same as some coins and stamps that others collect, of course it's gonna be expensive. I can understand your issues with it, but for me, ME WANTS !

Pass. Got the first reissue for $60. The character has big appeal, but I believe the toy is fully available as it is right now to warrant an encore reissue. Whatever, those Takara dudes probably know better than me.

Anyway, if I'm still on the fence about the gold Predaking reissue, there's no way I'm going after this.

 

I want this, but I'm not going to bite the bullet immediately. I'll search around to see if I can find the first reissue/original for cheaper.
