I hate the Raoul figure. He stays in a box permanently. I like Chip though. I don't care that he lacks articulation, as he either sits in his wheelchair, in Sunstreaker's hand or on his shoulder.

That huge backpack is an even bigger eyesore from the side view, and I really don't see why the description on the transformation says the waist does not even have to twist like in the toon. That never happened in the toon he transformed just like the G1 toy. The only time he had a twisting waist for transformation happened in video games.

Transformation looks insanely involved. They skipped quite a few steps in the magazine like how the truck's front grill goes into the backpack somehow.

OK, color me impressed. Really looking forward to this release! Also, I wonder if that smiling/laughing Starscream head is compatible with MP-11. :D

He didn't rotate his waist to transform in the cartoon, but MP-10 and MP-1 both do rotate their waists to transform.

So the point is MP-44's transformation is more toon accurate in that regard.

This toy is a marginal improvement over MP10. You don't have to spin him around because be probably doesn't have a waist swivel. Fail Kobayashi Why don't they listen to what we want, who in the hell expects wants innovation and cartoon accuracy in a Transformers toy.

Seeing the unpainted piece back when those came out I was already on board. When Takara revealed the full colored images I had no regrets for my choice. and now after seeing the magazine pages, I'm convinced more than ever that I need this.

I will have this no matter the cost.

Let the haters flame it and tear it apart all they like, but they aren't going to take the wind out of my sails. I'm hugely excited for this to be released ASAP.

Waiting til August of next year is going to be really tough. but it'll allow me to pull together the funds needed to grab one, to which I am grateful.

Ordered this from Amazon.JP. $300 is easier to swallow than $450.

These scans are an awesome thing to wake up to! Happy to see Carly really is included, magnets are confirmed, and HOLY PRIMUS THAT TRANSFORMATION!!!

I was transforming MP-36 last night and am still impressed by how they got a gun to change into a cartoon-accurate version of Megatron. I’m thrilled to see Prime getting the same treatment and I’m loving what we can see if the engineering on MP-44 from these photos.

The attention to details and the refinement Takara-Tomy’s people have been putting into the Masterpiece line is fantastic. I love seeing the evolution of the hip/pelvis design on this, the design decisions made to get accurate proportions in bit mode, and all the cool features that are being revealed.

August is going to bring some fun! And I love that group photo!

I have yet to see a more accurate Prime from any unofficial company.

This whole witchcraft TT now adds to their transformations has made me salivate about an Official Galvatron more than ever.

That thing is going to be insane.

Can\'t believe there's still no shots of this with MP Megs V2 - you'd think they want to play that up to hell & back considering how perfectly they match now.

When I saw the first reveal of this I thought “do we need another mold of Optimus Prime?” The answer to that question is no...... but I sure as hell want it!!!! The complexity is simply wonderful. This is what a transformer is. A puzzle with guns and battle damage
