think this is my favourite of all the Combiners so far

I preordered at BBTS, I've got till March to save up. What other RID characters have modern updates? I know there are Hasbro & Takara versions for Sky-Byte and Scourge but I'm wondering if I missed any.

I'm hoping before UW is done they'll release a more unique combiner that includes that Blast-Off mold. Heck, we need another random as heck Grand Galvatron type.

 

Yup. I'm sold on Ruination.

He looks amazing in every way.

I really hope he's next after this.

Let's see, so after this comes out we'll be able to display it alongside Generations Sky-Byte, TFCC or Legends Scourge, TFCC Sideburn.... am I missing any, to flesh out a modern RiD/Car Robots collection? Does Jhiaxus count? We could definitely use a few more. I'd sure love for that Car Bros./Fire Convoy/Skid-z combiner many have conceived to come to fruition. As well as some Spychanger homages and, heck, maybe CW Groove as Axer, or something? I want a solid shelf's-worth.

I'd concur simply because rid01 was the first time we got a jhaixus figure

 

I have trouble keeping up with the individual Japanese names so I'll use their RID names.

I know that's supposed to be RID Rollbar and that is his original Takara color scheme, but after CW, I can't help but see him as Hound like that. Too bad they couldn't have added a little bit of difference to differentiate him more like maybe some "sand spots" along the bottom of the vehicle mode.

But other than that, he looks really good all combined up and with the new style hands and feet to boot. I swore I was not going to buy another version of the combiner Onslaught or Brawl mold, but this set is making it very very hard to say no. I especially love that RID Ro-Tor paint scheme on the UW/CW chopper mold.

$200!!!!! Nah man, I can't do that! If the price drops I'm good to go.

Except I won't, because I won't ever be getting him, because he's super expensive and an exclusive. Goddammit.

 

This would go well up against the banana Yellow Universe (RID) Optimus Prime I think.

 

Neat.

Seeing that the UW line isn\'t finished yet... I have to hope Takara announced a proper Leokaiser in the near future. Would love to see a proper torso, if at all possible, or a clever retool that at least homages the two core bots, Jallguar and Leozack, better. Also plenty of Arms Microns that could be repurposed for the Breastforce minions.

 

Is it March yet?
