First Megatronia and now Ruination......and I thought I'd be able to avoid UW.
Hope he sees a Hasbro release.

I get it that this is pure profit/ good business on TT's part, but meh.
Unless it comes with some real surprise freebies or remolding, then this is a big pass for me...

Edit: Although, the thought just occurred to me, if it comes with the US Computron hands and feet, I'd probably get it...

Also it's surprising to me that they repaint Bruticus considering he's still in stock almost everywhere. But I guess the name and deco are more interesting to the Japanese collectors.

And it'll be a limited run for the TT Mall anyways.

 

Are they not just keeping in line with G1 by releasing another Bruticus deco? Given how many repaints the original set got, the CW Bruticus moulds have Takara / Hasbro set for new releases for the next 18 months

I think he's referring to the fact that the demand for the regular UW Bruticus was pretty low. It's down to 8,000 yen on Amazon Japan (~$80), which is basically clearance. So it's kind of surprising they're going to try to sell another version of the mold here. (Especially since Japanese fans seemed dismayed by it's stability issues, and there was some love/hate regarding the way the torso was designed)

I, too, thought we'd get Guard City before this, but who knows what the thinking is.

This is what I have been waiting for since Bruticus was revealed. Totally buying

 

Ha! I knew it! Where's the people who said it wouldn't happen because TT doesn't do repeat heads?? (They could still give new heads but in this case why bother?) All of the clues have led us to Baldigus...

Now let's get Battle Gaia and Guard City and a proper Liokaiser!

 

Yup. In fact pre-order numbers where so bad that Takara had to pull the old "Buy it so when can make more"-shtick, first time I ever witnessed them doing that.

But hey, maybe they fix the problems Bruticus had with Baldigus and deliver some cool new stuff to make him more desirable.

One thing is for sure though, that Blast Off mold will look a lot better in white.

I hope they actually take the little extra effort and reverse Blast Off's body... I also hope they stick with the HFGs and not get tempted by those Computron hands and feet..

 

Well, this was obvious. I will probably get this since I did get the original RID Ruination and I loved the combination of colours from the show but I would still be disappointed if this is just a straight up repaint of Bruticus at a higher cost.

At least add some extra weapons please.

 

Give that terrible color scheme, frankly, Japan can keep it. I suppose they might add new combining weapons, but otherwise it will likely remain just the same.
Disappointed, I hoped to see the Takara Liokaiser instead.

 

I'm in for Baldigus for sure.
