I wonder if catapult could just be a mis-translation of the gimmick that launches Full Tilt?

Edit: Google translate of JP language wiki specifically calls this an "aircraft catapult" which again, makes me think it's related to the launch gimmick.

It's listed as a separate part on the Takara Tomy mall site so I'm quite positive it isn't referring to a gimmick. Also カタパルト literally means catapult.

We'll have to wait and see but I'm very curious what TakTom has in store for us.

Could anyone identify the catapult from the Hasbro one?

Going by the cost of shipping for the recent Fort Max or Metroplex, I'd say AE will charge around $75 to 80 to ship Trypticon . Yup.

That looks an awful lot like the Hasbro release. The eyes look like they might be yellow but I think it's just a light reflection. I'm thinking this is probably just a tease and the actual toy will be revealed in one of the hobby magazines this month.

Scale is awesome though! Great for those that own fort max or metroplex.

Catapult is the thing that full tilt connects to on tryps chest I think.

And to think people were worried about this mold its articulation.

I think it'll be capable to pulling off some neat poses, despite its bulk.

Glad to finally see a comparison shot with Metroplex. My biggest concern was that he would appear too small beside 'Plex.

Definite money shot. I was already sold on this guy, but this just seals the deal for me.

Please can a 3rd party company make loads of little weapons to attach to him in base/spaceship mode. I want him to have a full arsenal at his disposal.

COOL!! So then, leaning forward so his tail isn't draging on the ground like a 1940s donosaur he should just be maybe a little taller than Utopia, which is my Metroplex.

    Ebay:
As posted and can confirm since I did Fort Max to be around $75-80, not factoring the change in the currency since then and when this is released.

How do you hide something so big from wife... or rather Kids. And where do you keep it when its off duty?
I think that they should have made it also a nespresso machine so you can actually keep it around... :)
