Shipping from Japan for an item this big , even with an exchange rate difference, is an ass kicker. Best to stick with a local vendor on city bots. After shipping and the cut paypal or your credit card takes for the currency exchange, you'll be lucky to save all of $20 USD.
With a local vendor you don't have to worry about shipping damage / returns.

Still going to get it just so I don't have to worry about exploding leg(s) (hopefully).
Hopefully I'll get a printed TT comic out of it ^^.

I would think there has to be a reason for the big gab in releasing it between NA and Japan.

 

Was hoping he'd look a bit different compared to Hasbro's version, but oh well. I'll still probably get him because of my unhealthy loyalty to Takara. That and I'm hoping there's some kind of fix to his hips.

The wait is gonna be painful tho. He's already boxed and ready yet he won't be released until the 29th.

 

I found two Titans Return Trypticons at my TRU and the one I picked up checks out 100% great! Sorry HLJ, I have to cancel the Legends Trypticon preorder, but we will still be doing PLENTY of business through February!

 

He will be on sale faster then lightspeed if he's exactly the same. Probably will morgate heavily the chances for scorponoock or Omega Supreme.

Nemesis Command is in the Hasbro Trypticon instructions too, with only Sky Shadow and Overlord joining Trypticon. I like that they call it out!

 

Bored at work, so here's a silly question: what's the quickest way to get from Quickswitch to Overlord in Nemesis Command? Hitch a ride with Full-Tilt?

 

I'm sure Quickswitch wouldn't mind transforming to jet mode and flying you over.

That price thou. It's gonna be quite a hit on the wallet to import Legends Trypy over to Malaysia.

No doubt, just not the right time to import him right now.  

 

I ended up cancelling LG Trypticon and picked one up at my local TRU. With a coupon, it comes out to about half the cost when factoring in shipping. I just couldn't justify importing the exact same figure for twice the cost, even with fancy Japanese packaging. I'm very disappointed Takara didn't go the extra mile with this guy like they did with Metro and Max.
