I only ask because the one in this new video looks identical to the Hasbro render, down to the stickers.

 

Ah Japanese Media, so exaggerated & quirky & fun! This reminds me of Seinfelds "Super-Fun-Happy-Hour" or the Simpsons Homer/Fish-Bulb commercial; so weird yet so AWESOME!  

Oh, and by the way, Trypticon looks GREAT! His gray does seem lighter & his transparent-green looks like a different shade from the one Hasbro has shown; at least I think it does.

So is it pretty much confirmed that the Takara version doesn't come with any extra parts or features?

 

I can't remember the last time I have been this excited for a specific Transformer to come out. Eating titan masters is one of the best action features they could have added to this guy; I'm just hoping maybe Takara will make some more random six packs of miscellaneous heads.

 

Why would it?

 

Because the previous three Titan releases did.

 

I kinda hopes the US version comes with a voice chip saying \"get into mah belly\"  

And whoever thought he would be as tall as Generations Metroplex? Trypticon walks bent, he was always shorter than say, Scorponok or Overlord - but from tail to head, he is easily as long as they were tall. In bulk, he is definitely larger than Generations Metroplex.

I find myself leaning toward the Hasbro release on this one. While it's hard to tell the difference between the shades of purple and grey, the Takara version definitely uses a green translucent plastic, and the Hasbro a blue; when compared to the NYC Toy Fair videos we saw, that is.

 

Oh yeah! I am getting more and more excited for Trypticon, he looks good in a way that Fort Max and even Devastator didn't for me, I feel like I did when they first revealed they were going to do a two foot Metroplex!

 

After always getting the more expensive version of the Titans so far, I'm super excited to just get the Hasbro version of this guy.

I cracked up when they brought out the plastic tub full of dozens of titan masters. Then he says that his stomach's full after two dozen.

At least we now know that Trypticon can do the "chicken dance."

It's a pass for me, as I was hoping for something that scales accurately with the big Metroplex, and generally find this company's products crappy and unreliable anyway.

 

I'm not surprised that a guy with a Unofficial Roadbuster as his sig pic would say this.
