The hollow chest is to accommodate the Titanmaster Eating gimmick, plus serves as city space/storage for titanmasters.

Outside of April, I only have 2 preorders and only one is a Transformer (the other is Leonardo). Very quiet summer, so far for me, on the Transformers front for collectibles.
I chose the Takara Trypticon. I have Fort Mac. Now all I'm missing is Metroplex.

You guys realize Trypticon is shorter than Metroplex because even if they both used the *exact* same amount of plastic Typticon has a giant tail hanging off his butt that would take up some of those resources.

If Trypticon had to be as tall as 'Plex while still having his tail, he'd have been *much* larger and thus also would have to have larger legs to carry that weight.

That's not who fans voted for.

Though Scorponok would likely *still* be a Headmaster when he inevitably comes out.

No doubt if you are living outside of Japan, using a in-state vendor is the way to go with a figure of this size and possible weight; even if the exchange rate is well within your favor.
You would essentially be riding the vendor's bulk ship rate to some extent and have some additional shipping and QC protection. I.e. the local vendor isn't going ship you a crushed and obviously damaged figure that got damaged between Japan and your country.

Just saying for Metroplexes, Fortresses and Giant Dinosaurs.

Should scale well with Make Toys Utopia.

Did some minor digging. Trypticon will be approximately 45 cm according to Takara. That is about 17 3/4 inches compared to Metro's 21 inches (24+ if you count his shoulder pylons). That is a full voyager figure shorter. :(

    I really hope that's wrong.

    Ebay:
What I did with Fort is combine it with other items (spread the cost) to lessen shipping for him alone. By itself, I agree. I was better buying it a full retail from any US seller or waiting for a sale.

    Yeah I'm confused.

They said 20 inches in height (I suppose that includes the tower lasers being erect)

Excuse you. Keep your insults to yourself. Trypticon was the only option for a new Titan scale figure IMO. Luckily, he won.

Most likely around July for SCDD. In the past, they've done a SDCC Metro, Devy and Fort Max and sold the retail version shortly after. So, July... Maybe
