LG43... and God Bomber is LG42. So we're not getting any Legends figures between May and September. That sucks.

As for me, I'm just going to retype what I stated on another site: "We still haven't gotten confirmation of a LG Sixshot, Overlord or if they're even going to make their own version of Liokaiser.

I did break down and eventually grab their version of Devastator but that wasn't until the price dropped about 30% on BBTS.

But as far as Trypticon goes. If he's not some how taller with a longer tail and darker grey, Takara can keep their version this time around."

 

Gives the line a small break so people can pick up MP Megatron and the movie toys, I think. But I would bet that Trypticon won't be the only September release for Legends, hopefully they announce a few more.

Well he'll probably be the darker almost black of the cartoon, but that's going to be the only major difference I imagine.

No big physical differences. And going by Takara's track record with Slammer and Cog, any fans hoping for a Brunt are most likely out of luck.

 

True....A taller version of Typticon is more like wishful thinking but a longer tail would be plausible, which is why I feel he won't be worth the extra $80 Takara price just for a paint job. You're better off buying Hasbro's version for 150.00 and waiting for the inevitable 3P upgrades which might not even be more than $50 extra.

Takara knows this as well which is why they're suddenly giving their version such a big head start on BBTS whereas with figures like Sixshot and Overlord they know people will patiently wait.

 

Now then, where are the other Legends?

 

Hmmm, probably comes with a darker grey and Brunt as an added accessory.

 

The other titan class figures have all had something extra but they may just have been circumstantial, perhaps TT felt that they needed those things. Who knows if that is case here.

 

Man, Trypticon looks awesome. I passed on Fort Max last year due to space, but I probably HAVE to get Trypticon. I'll wait to see what version I prefer, we'll see how the paint looks, any chrome, etc. I envy those that have the space and funds to get all the different versions, but I'll have to pick just one.

 

$50 for blood?
