Does anyone have comparison shots between the Takara-Tomy releases of DOTM toys with the Hasbro releases? I'm curious about the differences for a few such as Sideswipe.

I looked at a bunch yesterday, and aside from a sticker in the front, they seem to be the exact same as the US releases (with the exception of Arcee who is an exclusive). Even the card backs are in english

There is a Bumblebee deluxe that sold in a voyager style box and comes with a card holder.

Hasbro cardbacks are standard for movie toys, doesn't say anything about the toys themselves though. 2007's Landmine had different plastic shades and robber tires in Japan, despite using a Hasbro cardback.

I'm also very curious about differences. The initial releases in the movie lines often didn't have many but there was always something; whether it be the clear windows on the 70's Camara Bumblebee or the gray (rather than red) neck piece on ROTF Leader Prime.

Usually the biggest differences come as the line matures. I'm still holding out on Sentinel Prime and Leader Ironhide since it's been said those will get Movie Masterpiece treatment in Japan.

Only notable difference now is only Voyager Optimus Prime. Not just trailer, but the figure itself... All others are the same except with a bio card....

Even Sideswipe is still that drab plastic gray color, right? No silver paint?

Yes, no additional paint apps on Sideswipe. Looks just as awful as the US release.

By the way, wasn't Sentinel Prime supposed to have three phrases on the voice chip? Mine (the Japanese release) only says "I am Sentinel Prime."
