yea. that was expected. the DA-05 is the TTM exclusive. they had the wrong picture up just like with the Dia-Naut 8 pack.
Hoping BBTS gets the DA-05 pack through HA, if not, I can build up 'My Beloved Cosmic Marine Corps, Ooohrah!'
@Fort Max: Still not in stock @ Kapow or tfs-express... your in the uk, right? Any other suggestions as to where to try in the uk?
Sorry, that pic's from a Japanese Twitter user, should have said. I'm not actually going for these myself so I can't help you there I'm afraid.
My wallet is protesting the arrival of the marine suits at BBTS today, but I'm leaving my order anyways. Not sure how long I will be able to wait before I have to hit the ship button.
Shit. I was thinking I'd get the Lunar Dia-Battles next month. But NOW I think those marine suits would go better with the cosmic version.
That's my thought as well! If you can wait, and don't want to buy all of the incredible diaclone toys, I think the upcoming power suits will match cosmo maneuver nicely. The yellow with the large window, and the boxy one - which at the recent toyfair appeared in white. But who knows when those will come out...
Been trying some Kotobukiya Modelling Support Goods generic weapons today, with mixed results. First off is set 05, the rifle and axe. Straight away it become apparent that not everything from this line is compatible with Diabattles fixed hands. :s The axe is completely unusable without major modifications, you'd you have to basically remake the entire handle to make it fit. The rifle was a lot more successful, I only had to cut off a little lip on the bottom of the grip and it fit in the hand quite nicely. The same applied to set 32 the samurai swords, once the lip on the bottom of the grips had been removed they fitted just as well. This set comes with some non functioning scabbards too but these connect via a 3mm peg and are thus unusable with Diabattles. The pistols from set 07 required a bit more work, they are designed to connect together via the grip but there's no way this was fitting in Diabattles fixed hands so I cut off the tab and the slanted bit to make the grip straight. These look so nice in Diabattles hands that I don't mind losing this functionality at all. There is another combined form for a rifle mode that connects by the rail under the front of the gun so that is still usable. Here's some pictures of the Swords, pistols and Rifle all being equipped at once, apparently I like playing Buckaroo with my mecha toys! That just leaves set 36 the missile pod and radar array. This uses 3mm pegs entirely so no good for Diabattles but I already knew that, I got this for the Powered Suit(s) and it works, mostly. It is however rather on the large side for them! That covers the four sets I brought to test these out, overall I was very pleased, they're so cheap that you can't really feel that bad about the odd unusable pieces. As long as you stick to the more basic weapons and make sure you know exactly what you're getting they're a pretty good investment for a burgeoning Diaclone Reboot collection.
Pics of the Cosmo Marine Powered Suits were posted by someone on Facebook, shared to Taghobby. Pretty much what you'd expect, I bet they'd look nice with a weathered paint job... 艾雷 - 宇宙海兵隊,會合! | Facebook
They look good. It's going to be tough waiting a week to hit ship on my POL, but I'm thinking about adding a couple of things before I do.
These aren't my pics so I couldn't say... I should be getting them from BBTS soon, if the question hasn't already been addressed by then I'll let you know.
Nice pics Fort Max, totally just bought that little big missile pack, and couple other ones lol Wondering this myself.
