And also at BBTS Diaclone Reboot - DA-02 Powered Suit System Type A (Attack) - Transformers Diaclones & Pre TF Diaclone Reboot et al
I have both powered suits preordered on Amazon Japan and with shipping the total was about $56 so considerably cheaper then what the US based stores are offering them at. They aren't due to ship until 01/28 though.
I noticed Robot Kingdom has them for about $26 each but the shipping from HK to USA kills that discount. If I order enough from TCP or BBTS, shipping is free so it sorta evens out. I don't mind the prices... just stating that it hurts a little.
While we wait for our Dia-Nauts 8 packs with baited breath, can anyone show us non Titans Returns transformers who have cockpits which Dianauts can fit into? I suspect a Dianaut might fit inside Generations Whirl, possibly leader Jetfire, if anyone can confirm or deny that would be great.
I suppose the obvious ones would be the G1 figures that were part of the original Diaclone line, since the new Dianauts are the same size as the old. As far as newer figures go, MP Starsaber is one possibility. I think they might fit in the MP seekers as well.
Very sad they don't fit in Whirl, I thought that would be a for sure. Any Generations figures other than the obvious Titans Return?
They do fit in star sabers cockpit, seen it somewhere when diabattles came out. Also, just seen on Taghobby that the Space Marine Powered Suit two pack is out on the 23rd of February. Not sure if that's news or not though as I haven't really been following them.
I've preordered DA-06 and DA-07. These will be my first purchases on this line. Can someone post a picture of DA-01 standing next to Striker Manus? Are they about the same size/height? Thanks
I was sick and took a vacation day... Fortunately, today was the day Diabattles arrived. So much fun to tinker with! The Triser mode is probably my favorite. I can get almost everything on him with some creativity. Still haven't found a way to get all the parts in one mode.
Okay so I had a few hours to play around with Diabattles... I love him. He's a marvel of engineering, the way things line up. Almost a cross between a Masterpiece Transformer and a Fansproject Function X figure. Once you get the feel of the various pieces, he's very intuitive. In fact, if I had to find something to complain about, it'd be two things: 1) the lack of complete accessory storage. One would think they'd make a nice internal or external place to store those extra gun barrels. 2) I wish more things pegged together. Like the arms just kinda sit there in most modes when not being used for arms. And that backpack with the tailfins likes to fall down a lot because there's no way to lock it. The worst has been that "glide" mode (next to last in the instructions which aren't in front of me at the moment) where the cockpit just kinda sits on the upper part of the legs with no real way to lock in. Unless I'm doing it wrong.. But yeah, it doesn't detract my enjoyment of the set enough that I stopped messing with it over the last few hours. I can't wait for the rest of the series! Looks like I'm all in. Thanks a lot @Maz my wallet hates you. As for what should be next... Maybe they paused to make way for Big Powered and want to unveil him at a show before taking preorders. They could still pad the line with the C and D mechs as well as repaints of them, and not to mention how easy it is to make another set of little dudes.
Ditto on more places to peg in or store the weapon barrels. Though it looks like DA-06 adds more attachment points, which could solve that issue. Do we know if DA-06 comes with a motorcycle? It seems like a shame to leave the bike storage portion empty, but I see no pictures of a road viper with the set.
There are good prices at ToyDojo. (Free Ship @ $150) Powered Suits for $32.99 Moonbase Diabattles $149.99 I just bought 2 each of the Powered Suits and finally got around to the moonbase diabattles. Massive increase to my Diaclone collection.
