After the first wave, times were tough. Mass casualties from the invading hordes, ruined cities, and massive military spending had left the world economy in shambles. Mankind was forced to work with the best they could when the second Waruder invasion arrived. Small battalions, with a few mech suits alloted per unit. With less pilots left, they would rely on their larger mech units, bringing more firepower than ever against the incoming Waruder threat. There were less of them, but humanity had every intention of bringing the strongest attack they could to eliminate the Waruder army.
Question for other folks who have the Gamma suits, are the head swivels tight on yours? I've got five of the buggers and on each one the heads do not swivel smoothly (or easily) at all.
If you spin the head piece around a few times it loosens it up pretty well. One of the tricks is to turn it using your fingertips/fingernails on opposite sides and turning it evenly. Hard to describe, but if one side is pressed harder it stops it from turning since the head itself is on a series of small lip pieces instead of an actual swivel joint.
I saw someone else post something similar some time back and figured I'd give it a go. Unfortunately it isn't stable at all, but it does look cool.
I believe I did the math right here. Ordering everything from RK ended up being cheaper than the usual AE. The Dark Cathode Raptor Head really sealed the deal to just buy it all now. Also now that I spent all my money maybe some V3 and Hound preorders can finally show up
you guys suck...especially you @Yaujta because of all these pics i just made my first waruder PO today......the dark cathode raptor....i was interested in the normal rapot but the dark cathode colors look so damn good. march is going to be such a long wait...
I'm on the edge of this feeling; bought all-in from the start, Waruders too. Perhaps feel better as the line continues; the slower roll-out is both blessing and curse. Diaclone is superior to toy-lines I've had to drop, to focus funds (it's like military spending, lol). Thinking official, buildable HQ sets(s) to populate and tie forces together would help...pictures of an amazing Base have been posted from the shows. Diaclone scale lends itself to 'world building' vs army building; for example I enjoyed Acid Rain B2five, satisfied with a few squads and vehicles whereas Diaclone is a different animal. Just my 2-cents, sticking around (ha, no other choice now).
Well I figure I'll get started with this big guy, just put in the down payment. I plan on calling/using him as Grandus though.
Argh. I'd passed on the original Big Powered repaint since I didn't really see much of a difference between the original it to justify a second purchase. This one though....new head, new shoulder guns, new cannons, new hands, new shin pieces...ok, fine, you got me Bandai.
