yeah, I like what I see. Ordered and fingers crossed we get a thundercracker down the road.

 

Stickers are not applied to this yet skywarp in the first post. Skywarp has silver metallic wing stickers that arn't in these images for example.

 

does the figure have any arm guns/missiles like starscream it looks pretty lame without them and if it doesnt Im cancelling my preorder.

Oic but a bit ridiculous as in Takara just doing their own thing without even considering whether Skywarp is in the show or not. I got a feeling that there might be Skywarp appearing in the future episode.

 

None of the other figures come with their original accessories.. so probably not.

 

You mean like how Hot Shot and Dead End are getting toys (as redecos, like Skywarp) from Hasbro despite the fact they may never appear in Prime either?

No previous Transformers line hasn't contained non-show characters. On one or both sides of the Pacific, Prime was bound to follow suit.

 

I'm still going to pick this up. I think he looks great, but needs a new face. I think with the way his torso can be changed around, you could get all three seekers to look a bit different from each other Skywarp standing up straight or tinkering with the head position come to mind.

 

Understand but since they can do a Dreadwing in the show, don't see the reason why they can't do a Skywarp in the show

That may be a bit of a cheat.
The line was over and the characters introduction was set after the series finale as part of a Club toy.

For the line itself, Animated had all show characters.

 

Dirge never appeared in the actual cartoon. Oil Slick did eventually but received a toy long before his actual appearance (and was never actually meant to appear in the cartoon originally, I think).

If you want to count Japanese exclusives, Black Rodimus never got in either, nor did the Elite Guard decos of Bumblebee, Prowl and Optimus. The Hydrodive/Jetpack Bumblebee never appeared in the cartoon either, correct?

Animated is one of the better cartoon/movie lines to actually show almost every character (and even some of the redecos) that received a toy, but then again the show and line were canceled so who knows what could've happened had both gone on longer.

Back on topic, I just got an email from RK stating my Skywarp has shipped!

 

so is skyward a japanese exclusive? any indication we will get him here in the US?

 

Skywarp is just normal mass release,is not a japanese exclusive

 

So far, no indication that the US is getting Skywarp. Of course there's no indication that Japan is getting Hot Shot. Or Wheeljack, for that matter... (though he's pretty likely)
