Just got around to opening my reissue Blaster. Fresh outta the box, one of his antenna is bent and has a stress mark. He was sealed til I opened him. As sure as I try to straighten it, I just know it'll break. Why oh why must these things keep happening?

Oh man that bites :(  They both have been having some QC issues as of lately. Seems all camshafts, if not most, have a defect on the hood.

My re-issue Wheelie (don't laugh) has a deformed front section. The bit with the rub sign on it is bent into a 'V' shape at the front. He's never been out of his box.

In addition, I've had a few pre-scratched BTs. On the whole though, I've not had too many problems with either Takaras or Hasbros stuff.

To be fair, its possible these were assembled at Hasbro's leased factories. Takara's TF product line is so small this year that its probably not worth their time leasing factories dedicated to TF production for themselves, so most likely stuff like G1 box Primus, Blaster, GF Soundblaster, Minerva and Noisemaze Production Type are all from Hasbro's.

HAHA, so even when a Takara product is garbage it's still Hasbro's fault? LOL

I Feel your pain. I would feel the same (if not worse) if my blaster came like this.

You know those 5 year olds that assemble these toys get really lazy when they don't take their naps.

It's a shame when overseas buyers end up with defected items.

For the record Takara deals with customers complaints very quickly.
I hear some Japanese fans brag (in a sarcastic way) how many times they have sent their toys to Takara to be fixed :lol

*sigh* if only we could say the same for Hasbro... (in terms of speedy customer service)

It's hard enough just trying to get in contact with someone there, let alone get something done. :(

Takara probably just repackages the returns and ships them overseas where no one can do anything about it. :p

But that really bites to hear about your Blaster. Weak man. Seriously weak.
