got this today. enjoy! box same size as Takara unicron. put both boxes side by side and you get the complete picture of primus and unicron, very cool! top of the box: closer look at the head scuplt, very nice paint apps on mine, very clean. the blue has slight metallic shine(similar to the one on my Henkei Thrust), its very subtle but very nice. a closer look at the leg: the arm: the chest, you can see all the panel lining details/weathering effects like Unicron, very nice! so many ties to undo! comparison time! planet mode(too lazy to do the 3rd mode!)
Want Want Want We need some planet mode pics asap! I'm gonna wait for this guy to drop in price before I pick him up though. He doesn't seem as desirable as Unicron, so I'll take that chance.

I'd love it if you have Death Star Vader to see him side by side, and also side by side with your Unicron. I've seen him for £100.00ish I'm humming and haring about the cost though or if I want to buy Unicron first instead. I like Unicron and he's probably handier but I don't own Primus at all in any color where as i've got 3 Unicrons already. Hmmmm tricky ?
I like the way he looks...but the blue hands when he's in planet mode...really distract me. I wonder if i can swap out the hands from this version and the cybertron one...
Idk IMO I still feel that Cybertron Primus is far superior to this version. I feel it's got way too much Blue. I like the drab gray pieces though.
Can't wait for mine to arrive into my POL. I have Unicron, the Hardhead upgrade, HFTD Highbrow waiting to ship as well. I think I might wait for the new deluxes to arrive in November before shipping all of this out. Maybe. =) - Gregg
It matches up well to Don's original concept, with the exception of the red chest on the concept version.
I appreciate the detail, but prefer the overall color design of the original toy. This one goes too far in making large sections of it either all similar blues or all similar grays.
Definitely liking the more unified color scheme. I think it should provide a better counterpoint to the new Unicron deco than the original Primus's colors. And the brushed gunmetal color for the planet mode is looking really good. Pre-order kept! Thanks for the pics, ss888!
