I don't know which version of Powerglide I should buy. Which you version of Powerglide you think is looks better? Takara's G1 accurate version of Powerglide or Hasbro's gray version of Powerglide?

I would just purchase HASBRO's Powerglide. G1 accuracy has never been very important to me and I really like white jets.

I found Hasbro PG today but I'm thinking I might hold out for the Takara red one and then sell this Hasbro one...

I personally don't like how Hasbro's one has a red head on a predominantly white body, it looks a bit out of place. Plus, this is a character who I grew up with! At Ultra Class, I can only really afford one version of him for my collection. So I'm going to get the Takara one. Gee-wunny goodness!

Besides, I've got a white A-10 already. His name is Wingsaber!

i'd go for takara since i'm a g1 fan. but its up to ur preference, if u like g1 then go for takara, if u like new look than go for hasbro. price is also a factor, usually hasbro is cheaper than takara. bottom line - preference

Definitely the Hasbro version. I prefer the more realistic deco, don't care about G1 accuracy and can't see paying almost double the price just because the colour is different.

What's wrong the leg(s)? I haven't seen any issues with mine.

I'm going for just Stormcloud and neither Powerglide. I think that's the best color scheme on the mold and he'll really beef up the 'Classic' Decepticon Air Force.

Well nothing is "wrong" with the legs. It's just that the way he has to stand up could be "corrected" by removeing the last sprue on each upper leg ratchet joint.

But I don't think it will bother me.

Hasbro version all the way. :thumb
I don't need to justify it. It just rules.

Well...Go for Takara if you want G1 accuracy and Hasbro if you want a realistic paint scheme.

Oart of me really wants G1 accuracy, the other part doesn't think it's worth it no for powerglide at least. Really I wish they were all G1 colors that way we wouldn't have to worry about it. In the end though I figured that I can live with movie Ironhide being black and Ratchet been neon green, so I can live with Powerglide being white.

Buy the Hasbro one, and if you are comfortable with paint, paint over some of the white areas with red. Not the whole figure, just add red to some of the parts.

This opinion sort of baffles me since there is nothing remotely realistic about Hasbro's deco, it's just as unrealistic as Takara's.

regardless, i can see the extra $ not being worth it to some folks, but on PG it is too me, plus with Jetfire and Silverbolt already being white he'll stand out more in red... (plus i just think the deco looks better, the Hasbro version is kinda messy)

This is exactly what I was thinking... until I saw the final version of Stormcloud... The paint apps are much weaker, and the MM-88 text has been changed to look kinda... lame.
I've been looking at both pics back to back and now cannot deny that Powerglide looks better.
Takara's version looks pretty awesome in bot mode, but that all red alt mode is not doing it for me... not for that price, anyways...
