I picked up my Godbomber today and had a chance for a quick play with him, so I thought I'd share my thoughts. The short of it; he's a bit of a mess, especially from the elbows down, and his alt mode falls apart if you look at it funny, but he looks good and is pretty big.

The main problem is that a lot of pieces, especially the arms, are held together by one or two tabs only, but the fit is too loose so the slightest pressure pops them apart. This is especially problematic in alt mode. The entire front end and top will pop open by just touching them.

It's not all bad, though. There is a nice cockpit in alt mode that can hold three Titan Masters, there's lots of nicely done paintwork and the hands in bot mode are surprisingly well articulated. The knee joints are combiner pegs used in Combiner Wars, so the lower legs pop on and off easily and are more than sturdy enough to support his weight. There are lots of ratchets throughout the figure, and lots of articulation so posing isn't an issue...though moving the arms causes them to fall apart.

The shoulder cannon can open up in base mode for a Titan Master to sit in, but it feels (and is) hollow and cheap. The sword has a habit of popping apart, too.

I haven't tried combining Godbomber with Ginrai yet, but when I do I'll update this. I'll add more pictures, too.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the helmet has to be completely removed for transformation. It's not attached in any way, unlike the Leader-class figures. I found that kind of disappointing.

I saw wotakufighters review on youtube and whilst the figure looks cool he seems incredibly flimsy and complex, I'm glad the god ginrai set is out there but I'm going to stick with my reissue godginrai, a beast of a toy.

The Right shoulder on mine is incredibly loose, and keep his arm up in robot mode.

takara really need to up their game generally, the variability of pins/rivets/ball joints and ratchets functionality really spoil otherwise beautiful looking figures.

It's a real shame that this couldn't have been a better release. He looks great, the reworked Ginrai looks perfect and so too does the combined form, but man, the tolerances on the guy belong to Hasbro releases.

I'll be honest, God Bomber looked flimsy to me from the beginning. His joints and appendages in stock photography looked far too thin and far too thick in places to be sturdy. I wish that I was dead wrong.

I got mine today! Ok so I'm going to have to echo some people in that I am a little disappointed with the figure. God Ginrai is extremely top heavy so posing him is a chore and the fact that he can't firmly grasp his sword is just flat out annoying. My shoulder cannon isn't as loose as some people's, but it's certainly not tight either. I don't have any problems with his shoulders though, thankfully.

Still, I can't help but enjoy him. Once you've posed his, as long as it takes, he does look epic and I am glad I got him. I just think the fact that we bought two Leader figures for God Ginrai and the hype of waiting for Godbomber for so long made my expectations high.

Man...hoping these tolerances aren't figure wide. They don't seem to be.

I'm not too mad about the balancing issues of God Ginrai. He could have used heel support I guess but I'm not really surprised that he requires some fidgeting to stand.

Particularly with both Godbomber and Ginrai. The Ginrai that I got has leg panels that just pop out of place whenever I touch them, and the overall material feels cheaper than Hasbro's PMOP. That doesn't seem like Takara at all.

Got mine. My launcher is actually pretty tight and holds it's position pretty well. Forearms can come loose pretty easy, but that's really if you push it too hard. The main problem I have is actually Ginrai's feet. With Godbomber added on he's top heavy, but the fault lies with Ginrai and not Godbomber.

Disappointed with it. Even in combined mode it is a floppy mess.

Quality issues aside, I'm actually really excited to get this. I got the Powermaster OP with Apex Armor TRU reissue as a kid and it was one of my favorite toys.

I do like this toy, but it slightly aggravates me because in trailer mode it's so much smaller than Ginrai, and then in bot mode it's as tall as him

I don't have the toy btw

How on Earth did you get his shoulder cannon to actually stay positioned at an angle?
